Over at Disney Springs Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is going to celebrate National Irish Coffee Day Monday on January 25th, with a special guest offer for the pub’s traditional Irish Coffee: “You buy the coffee, the whiskey is on us!”
Raglan Road general manager Alan Delahunt invites guests to raise a glass to the national holiday that’s sure to be a wake-up call.
“It’s good to see Irish coffee getting the recognition it deserves,” Delahunt says. “It’s a great drink any time of day, and if whiskey and coffee get their own national days, Irish coffee should have its day in the sun, too.”
At Raglan Road, the traditional Irish coffee promo gives caffeine and whiskey fans something to tap their toes about as they enjoy the pub’s live Irish music and dance. The Traditional Irish coffee special offer is a finely-tuned mix of coffee, whiskey, sugar, and cream.
Other coffee-based cocktails are on the menu daily: the Bush-Tail Nitro is a cold-pressed Foxtail brew on draft infused with brown sugar syrup and Bushmills Irish whiskey topped with cream.
The Iced Irish features Baileys Salted Caramel with iced coffee, butterscotch schnapps, and Paddy’s Irish Whiskey topped with whipped cream.
The Bailey’s Shake is a frozen mix of ice cream, Baileys Irish Cream, and coffee liqueur.
“In Ireland, the Irish coffee is definitely a staple,” Delahunt says. “So we are ‘delira and excira’ to have an opportunity to celebrate this fantastic libation and to share our promotion of a traditional Irish staple with our guests. Alex Levine put it best when he said, ‘Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.’”

It is going to be a big party at Disney Springs when Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant celebrates its 15th anniversary on Wednesday, October 21st.
On that day Raglan Road will offer guests a bevy of food, beverage, and retail specials:

Bangin’ Bangers and Mighty Mash, and the OMG Burger

$15 Beer Flights for Two

off Shop for Ireland retail purchases
You can’t celebrate what’s to come without
looking back at how it all started!
The dining, shopping, and entertainment district Disney Springs was still called Downtown Disney in 2005 when the authentic Irish pub, owned and operated by Irish partners John Cooke and Paul Nolan, opened its doors offering a lively mix of authentic Irish entertainment, contemporary Irish cuisine, and a warm interior of aged walnut and mahogany woods from old Irish bars and churches was built in Ireland and shipped to Orlando.
Now situated at The Landing at Disney Springs
and having garnered multiple dining and entertainment awards through the years,
Raglan Road features daily choreographed Irish stage shows by talented bands
and an award-winning step-dance troupe. A dining destination for travelers and
locals, Raglan Road last month earned Orlando magazine’s 2020
Reader’s Choice first-place Dining Award for Best Live Music Entertainment. The
pub’s popular annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival and its Labor Day weekend
boutique Irish music festival, the Great Irish Hooley, have welcomed many
thousands of festival-goers each year.
Initially featuring lunch, dinner, and late-night pub grub, Raglan Road in 2013 introduced its Rollicking Raglan Brunch on Sundays, eventually expanding to Saturdays, as well. The popular weekend brunch last month also earned an Orlando magazine Reader’s Choice 2nd place Dining Award for Best Brunch.
A Traveler’s Choice award winner for
consecutive years, Raglan Road in 2020 also earned the exclusive honor of
placing in the top 10 percent of restaurants worldwide thanks to travelers’
reviews and ratings.
In addition to the pub’s modern Irish cuisine,
the menu features a wide selection of craft beers and ales, hand-crafted
cocktails, Irish coffee drinks, plus wine and bubbly, too. The Raglan Road
children’s menu offers options for every young palate.
Raglan Road closed in mid-March due to pandemic-related restaurant shutdowns and reopened in June after incorporating a long list of safety measures throughout the restaurant. Guests can book socially-distanced tables for dinner and for the Rollicking Raglan Weekend Brunch. Drop-in guests may find distanced seating at one of the pub’s bars, in one of three dining rooms, or on the patio, but reservations are highly recommended.
Currently, Raglan Road also features live entertainment nightly including a suite of shows featuring Irish bands and dancers. Guests also can enjoy shows beginning at noon during the weekend Rollicking Raglan Brunch. Dinner is served from 4-11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday Brunch is served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The pub’s Shop for Ireland boutique is open daily and packed with everything from cookbooks and kitchen wares to a wide selection of apparel, jewelry, flat caps, ball caps, and foodstuffs. Cooke’s of Dublin, the Irish quick-service restaurant adjacent to the pub, offers traditional favorites like Dublin-style fish & chips, burgers, and savory pies to carry out, eat in or devour at an outside table from noon to 10 p.m.

UPDATE: Visit Orlando Magical Dining has been extended until October 31st!!!!
I am really excited to share that Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining starts next week with an absolutely amazing charity!
If you aren’t familiar with it, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining offer diners to experience fine dining in Orlando at a great value with a $35 three-course, prix-fixe menu supporting local businesses and helping to feed others in need.
This year Magical Dining will run August 28 through October
4 with new additions that encourage dining with confidence.
Participating restaurants are going above and beyond with new
safety measures; new takeout and delivery meal options for in-home dining; and
the website now designates venues that also offer open-air and outdoor dining.
The OrlandoMagicalDining.com website is now live for diners to review menus of participating restaurants, make reservations, and see options for outdoor seating, takeout, and delivery.
“Visit Orlando originally started this program 15 years ago to support local restaurants during the off-season, and this year is literally the most significant and longest off-season these businesses have ever faced,” said George Aguel, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “Supporting this program is a positive benefit for all – residents get to enjoy fine dining at a value, local businesses can put employees to work, and Central Florida residents in need will receive meals through this year’s charity recipient, Feed the Need.”
Recognizing the significant impact of the pandemic on the local economy, this year’s charity provides food for local residents in need. The beneficiary, Feed the Need Florida, is feeding those who are struggling to access food during the COVID-19 crisis.
Since the program launched in late March, over 1 million
meals have been served, and funds raised through Magical Dining will help feed
thousands more. The effort is led by Orlando nonprofit 4Roots, plus public and
private partners, to support Florida farmers, preserve and create jobs, and
prepare nutritious meals to be served throughout Central Florida.
“We are honored to be a beneficiary of this year’s Magical Dining program,” said John Rivers, Founder & CEO, 4Roots & 4 Rivers Restaurants. “Although the COVID-19 crisis has shined a light on our efforts to feed those in need, the beautiful families and children we’re feeding today were hungry before COVID-19, and they’ll be hungry after COVID-19. We pray that others will join us in this cause, come beside us, and help make it happen.”
Due to limited seating capacity at participating
restaurants, diners are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance to
ensure securing their preferred dates and times.
Foodies are encouraged to check the website for new additions.
If you are comfortable eating out, the 38 days, which
includes six weekends, of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining allows you to support local
restaurants and our community.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is committed to the health and safety of our guests, employees, and the animals in their care.
The park has worked diligently with state and local health officials, outside consultants, and attraction industry leaders to enhance their already strict health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
These protocols and guidelines will be modified based on evolving industry standards and methodologies, public health, governmental directives, and advancing scientific knowledge on the transmissibility of COVID-19.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is excited to continue to provide guests with fun, inspiring, and memorable experiences, while addressing important health and safety needs during this time.
