LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park is gearing up for the most awesome summer ever with the return of Awe-Summer with more fun than EVER.
This year ten weeks of family fun-packed activities, exclusive character meet and greets tasty new treats, and special weekend events including the return of LEGO Friends Weekends and festive Fourth of July LEGO fireworks!

Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration will continue in 2022, with new and returning experiences coming to all of the theme parks and beyond.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, EPCOT’s first “other-world” showcase pavilion opening in the summer, will feature a new storytelling coaster that rotates 360 degrees to focus on the action, including the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will debut the all-new “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond,” which will be a reimagined stage show set in the timeline of the Finding Dory film.
A new quick-service restaurant, Connections Café and Eatery, debuting in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPCOT as part of the park’s ongoing transformation.
Walt Disney World’s immersive Star Wars-themed hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, will open on March 1, 2022, inviting guests aboard the starship Halcyon for an all-inclusive experience that puts them into the immersive world of Star Wars.
MagicBand+ will be available for purchase beginning this year, retaining existing MagicBand features, like park and guest room entry, retail, dining, and Disney PhotoPass, while adding new functionality to interact with experiences in the parks and beyond.
“Fantasmic!” will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2022 with an all-new sequence featuring live performers, stunts, special effects, and more!
At the Magic Kingdom Park, your favorite Disney friends will continue to make their return with enhanced experiences!
“Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” will return to the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage with favorite scenes from the previous version of the show plus a new opening and a new finale with Mickey Mouse and all his friends in their 50th Anniversary EARidescent fashions. The show will also include an all-new, original song entitled “Where the Magic Feels Like Home.”
The streets of the Magic Kingdom will once again be filled with beloved Disney characters and stories with the return of the Disney “Festival of Fantasy” Parade and the addition of a vibrant cavalcade.
SeaWorld Orlando Parks & Entertainment
Ice Breaker, SeaWorld Orlando’s first launch coaster, will open on February 18, 2022, with family-friendly thrills, including four backward and forward launches that culminate in a reverse launch with a 93-foot-tall spike with a 100-degree angle, the steepest vertical drop in Florida.
At Aquatica Orlando, Reef Plunge will zoom into Spring with a vibrant array of marine life, Commerson’s dolphins, leopard sharks, and a variety of other cold-water fish.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island Water Park
Iron Gwazi, North America’s tallest, fastest, and steepest hybrid coaster in the world, will open in March 2022, taking thrills to new heights, plunging from a 206-foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop, a dozen airtime moments, and three inversions while reaching top speeds of 76 miles per hour.
Rapids Racer at Adventure Island water park is an experience built for two as riders race through nearly 600 feet of slide, complete with low walls to encounter your opponents throughout this side-by-side experience and the world’s first dueling saucers.
Wahoo Remix will be Adventure Island’s first waterslide to feature synchronized light and sound elements, delivering an all-new, high-energy, family raft ride experience with ultimate party vibes. Enclosed tunnels that were once dark will now glow and groove as riders zoom through over 600 feet of fun.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort
The world’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park will open on February 24, 2022, at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort. This all-new standalone park will be filled with multiple rides, interactive attractions, fun live shows, themed playscapes, and water play areas for even the youngest fans.
Pirate River Quest, LEGOLAND Florida Resort will launch a family-friendly treasure hunt adventure through the legendary Cypress Gardens to discover the secrets protecting its canals as this all-new story unfolds brick by brick.
Beyond the Theme Parks
Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts has opened in the heart of downtown Orlando, and what makes this facility so special is that it achieves an N1 sound rating – the lowest level at which humans can detect sound.
The Orlando Slingshot and Orlando Free Fall – two world-record-setting attractions – opened in early January at ICON Park on International Drive. The Orlando Slingshot, the world’s tallest slingshot, stands at 300 feet, launching riders at speeds up to 100 mph. The Orlando Free Fall at ICON Park stands at 430 feet, making it the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower.
At Kennedy Space Center Visitor, the 50,000 square-foot, multi-level Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex will open in March 2022, featuring a showcase of NASA and commercial spacecraft hardware with immersive displays, as well as a “journey” through space, unique launch viewing opportunities, and more.

Once their letter is complete, families can watch their letter get magically sent to the North Pole through digital screens.

Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash is a special ticketed event that takes place at the Magic Kingdom on select nights until October 31, 2021, and like any new event, and I am sharing what you should know before you go to make the most of your Halloween fun!
Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy for guests ages 2 and up
– Masks are required regardless of vaccination status – Masks must be worn while indoors – Masks must be worn on Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner – The new policy includes attractions & their queues – Masks remain optional in outdoor common areas
Walt Disney World has opened up more Park Pass availability for summer visits to the park. So while you still need a reservation to enter the parks, it is now easier to snag one.
In accordance with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and the recommendations of local officials, face coverings are recommended to be worn in designated, indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of SeaWorld Orlando guests and employees.
The CDC has indicated that fully vaccinated people can be in outdoor areas without the need for a face covering.
The CDC still recommends that people get fully vaccinated and that unvaccinated people use preventative measures such as face coverings and social distancing.
For special interactions with certain animals, unvaccinated people will be required to wear a face covering.
SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica are both no longer requiring reservations…if you are planning on going to Aquatica during the weekend GET THERE EARLY as parking is running out before noon each day!
The Universal Orlando Resort encourages all guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across Universal Orlando Resort.

Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash is a special ticketed event that takes place at the Magic Kingdom on select nights until October 31, 2021, and like any new event, and I am sharing what you should know before you go to make the most of your Halloween fun!
Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy for guests ages 2 and up
– Masks are required regardless of vaccination status – Masks must be worn while indoors – Masks must be worn on Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner – The new policy includes attractions & their queues – Masks remain optional in outdoor common areas
Walt Disney World has opened up more Park Pass availability for summer visits to the park. So while you still need a reservation to enter the parks, it is now easier to snag one.
In accordance with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and the recommendations of local officials, face coverings are recommended to be worn in designated, indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of SeaWorld Orlando guests and employees.
The CDC has indicated that fully vaccinated people can be in outdoor areas without the need for a face covering.
The CDC still recommends that people get fully vaccinated and that unvaccinated people use preventative measures such as face coverings and social distancing.
For special interactions with certain animals, unvaccinated people will be required to wear a face covering.
SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica are both no longer requiring reservations…if you are planning on going to Aquatica during the weekend GET THERE EARLY as parking is running out before noon each day!
The Universal Orlando Resort encourages all guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across Universal Orlando Resort.
Face coverings are optional while outdoors.
All guests are ecouraged to keep a safe distance between travel parties.

2021 has been a yearlong party that kicked off with the debut of Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show and continued with a calendar of unforgettable events, including the all-new PirateFest Weekends, LEGO Friends Weekend, LEGO NINJAGO Days, and AWE-Summer. Now, this October will include even more reasons to party at the Theme Park built for kids!
NEW! THE LEGOLAND STORY: OPENING OCTOBER 15
The LEGOLAND Story will immerse LEGO lovers in the unexpected origin story of everyone’s favorite brick. Guests will also learn about the ever-evolving theme park experience and how LEGOLAND Parks were built, brick by brick!
In this all-new attraction, LEGO history comes to life with playful, photo-worthy displays, including an original ride vehicle from Cypress Gardens’ Triple Hurricane and an interactive Minifigure trading wall. Floor-to-ceiling colorful graphics illustrate chapters of LEGO history, including the first LEGO toy ever created and the original minifigure. After exploring the walkthrough experience, guests will build alongside the Master Builders’ Workshop with hands-on brick activities that are sure to inspire the builders of tomorrow. In the Six Blue Brick Build Experience, LEGO lovers will learn how six 2 x 4 bricks can snap into more than 915 million combinations!
The official winning LEGO model from LEGO MASTERS Season Two, along with the second and third place models, is also now on display at this new attraction. Here, fans can get 360-degree views of these colorful, show-stopping masterpieces.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee and fluffy pastries will fill the air in the entryway to this immersive attraction. The all-new café, LEGOLAND Coffee Co., will feature new flash-chilled iced coffee and seasonal flavors. Delicious hand-held breakfast items like tavern ham, baby swiss and egg croissant sandwiches, sundried tomato, and spinach frittata wraps, and triple-smoked bacon quiche cups are the perfect way to start a day of adventure at LEGOLAND.
BIRTHDAY BASH PARTY POP-UPS: JOIN THE PARTY OCTOBER 15
Families are invited to join in the brick-tastic birthday bash on October 15 to dance along with their favorite LEGO characters and friends. Party-packed play moments, surprise character appearances and pop-up entertainment will make this one awesome party!
You can’t have a birthday without cake, so LEGOLAND built the BIGGEST LEGO birthday cake EVER created to commemorate the big 1-0. This ginormous LEGO cake is the perfect place to snap your party picture! The more-than-20-foot cake is on display now through the end of this year.
As if that wasn’t sweet enough, our chefs cooked up something special for our big day. What’s the most famously delicious treat LEGOLAND? That’s right, Granny’s Apple Fries! Our chefs could not dream of celebrating our 10th birthday without paying homage to the fan favorite, and thus the Apple Fries Cupcake was born! Don’t be late to the party–this sweet treat will ONLY be available at Granny’s Apple Fries on our birthday, October 15. I am really excited to share that the grand opening for the World’s First Peppa Pig Theme Park has been announced for February 24, 2022, and it is going to be something to whistle about!
The all-new park will feature six rides, six themed playscapes, a water play area, and even more oinktastic experiences, just steps away from LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

Families can now purchase Single-day discounted tickets for only $30.99 by purchasing online. Single-day tickets will be $34.99 if purchased on the date of arrival.
Admission to Peppa Pig Theme Park can also be bundled with admission to LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park as a Two-Park, Two-Day Ticket, starting at $134.99 when purchased online in advance. The full walk-up gate price, if purchased the day of the visit will be $149.99.

Just a few hours ago the Walt Disney World Resort announced that three new planning tools will be launching on October 19, 2021!
Disney Genie is a personalized itinerary creator that effortlessly and smartly maps out an entire day inspired by the things you love – helping you make the most of your park time so you can have more fun.
Disney Genie+ is an upgrade to the complimentary version of Disney Genie service, for $15 per ticket per day, and includes the use of the lightning lanes at select attractions, Disney PhotoPass lenses, and Audio Tours.
Lightning Lanes can be purchased a-la-carte to save time waiting at the premiere attractions by park.
Early birds at Magic Kingdom Park are now starting their day with “Let the Magic Begin” on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage, and the ragtime piano player at Casey’s Corner is once again tickling the ivory keys on Main Street, U.S.A.
Over at EPCOT, World Showcase travelers are dancing to the Canadian rhythms of Alberta Bound, laughing at the antics of Sergio in Italy, and experiencing the majestic percussion of the Taiko drummers of Matsuriza in Japan.

The LEGOLAND Florida Resort has announced that is bringing back the spooky, kooky fun of Brick or Treat every weekend in October.
Brick or Treat activities include trick or treating around the Theme Park complete with frightfully fun character interactions, larger-than-afterlife LEGO builds, and meet-and-greet opportunities with ghoulish LEGO characters making appearances on event dates only.
