St. Patrick’s Day

End spring break on a high note and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at ICON Park. The Wheel’s 64,000 LED lights will be lit up in festive green, making it the perfect backdrop for any photos.

The entertainment destination also hosts a St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 17. Guests will receive a complimentary lanyard and pass with all the participating venues and their drink specials.

At each location, guests purchase a drink, their pass will be stamped. After receiving stamps from all the participating venues, the pass can be turned in for a free ride on The Wheel.

Museum of Illusions Orlando presents Life in Neon

Get ready to glow! Museum of Illusions Orlando is throwing its first party of 2023, and you’re invited to grab a drink and trick your senses all night long.

On February 17, the Museum of Illusions Orlando will host Life in Neon, a nighttime event where guests can explore the museum’s mind-bending exhibits and party under neon lights.

The party will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. and promises colorful fun with body paint, live EDM DJs, and a cash bar provided by ICON Park.

With live music, delicious drinks and unique picture opportunities, Life in Neon is the perfect date night for the weekend following Valentine’s Day.

Dazzling décor and colorful lighting will provide an exciting new take on the museum’s fan-favorite exhibits.

From LED light-up balloons in the Infinity Room to the addition of a sparkling disco ball in the Head on a Plate exhibit, guests will find fun, new decorations at every turn.

There will also be glowsticks and other props for guests as they experience the optical illusions and photo ops.

ICON Park Hosts Oktoberfest 2022

ICON Park is hosting their first Oktoberfest celebration, and you’ll want to bring your favorite stein and best lederhosen!

Aligning itself with the famous Oktoberfest festival held each year in Munich, Germany, ICON Park will offer special beer, food, and entertainment on Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 10 p.m. starting September 16 through October 2.

This celebration will be the perfect opportunity for families to spend time together while enjoying traditional experiences.

Throughout the celebration, guests can get their fill of delicious German beers. Beer flights featuring four seasonal brews will be available at The Lawn Bar for $16. If you’re looking for a nice souvenir, a commemorative 32 oz glass stein filled to the brim with your favorite selection can be purchased for $22.

Museum of Illusions Orlando hosts Noche de Sabor

Mark your calendar for a night of flavor, fun, and culture at the Museum of Illusions Orlando.

On September 30th, the Museum of Illusions Orlando invites guests to experience Noche de Sabor, or “Night of Flavors,” in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. From 6 to 9 p.m., the interactive attraction will throw an exclusive fiesta featuring a live band, DJ, and salsa dancers.

The Wheel at ICON Park will also take part in the celebration. During the event, party guests can take a complimentary trip on The Wheel, which will be lit up in the Museum of Illusions’ signature orange to add to the fiesta. On April 23, the Museum of Illusions Orlando will once again open their doors to man’s best friend at its fan-favorite event, Puppy Paw-ty. From 8 to 10 a.m. guests can experience the interactive and immerse museum with their furry friends.

ICON Park has partnered with Original Orlando Tours to launch the Flavors of ICON Park Foodie Walking Tour.

Guests of the tour will make eight stops for food and beverage samples, and ride on The Wheel, ICON Park’s signature attraction that provides views of Orlando from 400 feet in the air.

They’ll also receive a minimum 10 percent discount at the eateries when returning the night of the tour.

“ICON Park has always been dedicated to providing unique and memorable experiences for our guests. The Orlando SlingShot and Orlando FreeFall are now open at ICON Park, making the entertainment complex the “Land of the Giants” with three world’s tallest attractions.

“The SlingShot Group now has three world-record-setting attractions at ICON Park – The Orlando StarFlyer, SlingShot and FreeFall,” said Ritchie Armstrong, owner. “We’re extremely excited to welcome guests from all over the world and give them the thrill of a lifetime!”

The Orlando SlingShot at ICON Park stands at 300 feet, making it the world’s tallest slingshot. The two-tower attraction launches two riders out of an “exploding volcano” approximately 450 feet straight up into the sky, reaching speeds of up to 100 mph.

The Orlando FreeFall™ at ICON Park stands at 430 feet, making it the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower.

Thirty riders at a time can embrace the beautiful sites of ICON Park and I-Drive as the ride vehicle rotates around the gigantic tower and rises high into the skyline.

Once the ride vehicle reaches the top, it’ll tilt forward 30 degrees and face the ground before free-falling nearly 400 feet at speeds reaching over 75 mph.

The Wheel at ICON Park holds special memories for people all over the world, from proposals to gender reveals to family reunions. It’s always featured the best view, but now it has the perfect soundtrack to match.

Each of The Wheel’s 30 capsules includes a Bluetooth feature that allows guests to connect their phones to the capsule sound system featuring Bose speakers.

To optimize this element, ICON is partnering with iHeartRadio.As part of the partnership, iHeartRadio has created the “ICON Park Radio” custom playlist that guests can enjoy while riding The Wheel.

Special seasonal themes will also be available during various holidays throughout the year.

ICON Park Spotlights the Christmas spirit

ICON Park will be hosting a celebration of the beloved hymns and carols, goodwill toward all, and of course, gathering together to spread light and love with the Light the World with Love Christmas Concerts.

From December 6 to 11, local high school, church, and community choirs will be performing nightly from 5 through 8 p.m. Each night, four choirs will perform traditional Christmas songs in front of ICON Park’s holiday tree. There will also be Christmas-inspired videos, and emcees will lead the crowd in singing some Christmas carols themselves. To close out the evening, professional performers will take the stage each night.

But that’s not all. To really drive home the reason for the season, the concerts will spotlight local charities. Attendees will be invited to donate via a virtual giving machine at www.lightorlando.acahand.org to help make a difference.

Ready for some interactive fun?

Pick up your Deck the Seas Scavenger Hunt guide on your way inside the attraction and begin your adventure to find six cold water sea creatures located throughout the aquarium!

You’ll have a lot of fun learning about our cold water sea creatures, and once you find them all make sure to turn in your guide for a special prize!

Ready for even more fun?

Before you leave SEA LIFE Orlando, make sure to leave a special holiday card for your favorite sea creature! Drop it in the mailbox on your way out so their creatures can get all their cards in time for the holidays.

Don’t forget to take time to enjoy the holiday decorations throughout the attraction and see if you can find all the decorations we’ve put into our tanks.
