It’s Father’s Day Weekend, and I’ve got some great ways for you to spend a Day with Dad On the Go in MCO!
Don’t forget that you can catch these great events and more on the Obie & Ashley Unfiltered Podcast!
On the Go in MCO: A Day with Dad
If your Dad has the need for speed, you’ll want to race over International Drive to experience Andretti Indoor Karting and Games!
At Andretti, you can experience the World’s Longest Indoor Track with the Most Elevation Changes & Banked Turns on the powerful, ergonomic, safe and environmentally friendly BIZ KARTS. These bad boys pack enough torque to take you all the way to victory lane!
Andretti Indoor Karting and Games isn’t a one trick pony, because you can also bowl, play in the arcade, take in a dark ride, burn some rubber on race simulators, be adventurous on the rope & zip course, battle it out with Laser Tag, and more!
Andretti Karting salutes those that serve and protect us everyday with a 20% discount for all active MILITARY, POLICE, FIRE and EMS personnel.
If you’re looking for a fun and educational outing with the special dude in your life, the Orlando Science Center is filled with activities at every turn.
In addition to the familiar favorites such as Dino Digs and KidsTown, their new summer exhibit RESCUE is a hands (and feet) on experience that will show kids what it takes to be a first responder in the middle of a disaster.
One of my FAVORITE places in the Orlando Science Center is The Hive, and this weekend you can experience Make Fest!
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf at the Walt Disney World Resort will have you putting through scenes from the Disney Classic with twirling obstacles, cross fanciful fountains and musical surprises.
Resembling a traditional golf course built on a miniature scale, this course emphasizes skill over chance. Sand traps, bunkers, water hazards and sloping greens make the Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course an exciting challenge, where par-3 and par-5 holes range in length from 63 to 109 feet long.
At Fantasia Gardens, parking is free and it’s $14 per Adult, $12 per Child (Ages 3–9) (tax not included) to play a round.
Walk-ups are welcome or you may book a tee time for the next day or beyond by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.
Don’t forget to check out fun ways to explore the outdoors for under $10 a carload and free (or mostly free) indoor activities for the kids.
