Raglan Road Irish Pub Valentine's Day 2022

Whether you’re dining out with friends, lovers, or both, Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant invites you to share a Valentine’s Day toast with a complimentary glass of bubbly or a Kir cocktail offered to each guest upon arrival.

For your special evening out, Raglan Road’s creative menu bursts with flavors of contemporary Irish cuisine, from a Serious Steak with whiskey peppercorn sauce to our Drunk Mussels swimming in a savory Bloomsday Pale Ale, white wine, and garlic broth. Diners seeking plant-based entrees can go all in for the plant-based shepherd’s pie, a faro barley-based, veggie masterpiece with olive-oil mashed potatoes and burnt onion gravy.

Pair your dish with a Guinness or signature craft brew, a specialty cocktail, or your wine of choice.

For a sweet ending, try my absolute favorite…the classic Bread and Butter Pudding, or take the chocolatey Rocky Road to Raglan, a sure path to Valentine’s Day dessert bliss.

The Claddagh symbols of hands, crown, and heart represent friendship, loyalty, and love.

Valentine’s Day reservations are recommended.  A little Irish romance can go a long way.

The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is inviting all pet lovers to join together at Orlando’s largest pet festival and parade “Paws in the Park” returning to beautiful Lake Eola Park on Saturday, February 12 from 10 am-4 pm.

Paws in the Park supports the mission of Pet Alliance,  the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare agency, to educate, shelter, place, and heal pets and their families with compassionate, responsible care, and funds raised from the hugely popular event will help Pet Alliance save over 5,200 dogs and cats this year by providing shelter, care and love until they find their forever home.

Kicking off at 10 am is the Fundraising Awards, followed by the signature Pet Costume Contest with celebrity judges and cash prizes (New Themes: Stars of Film & TV, Favorite Food, Dogs with Jobs).  Participants and their furry family members can register online and invite their friends and family to join them for the special award ceremony, costume contest, and festivities.

Then, all attendees and their fur pals will enjoy a full day of both “human” and “canine” activities.  Activities include the return of the famous dock diving for dogs, lure courses, beer garden, a variety of food trucks and shopping, pet products, and more, plus plenty of pet adoption opportunities.  Pet Alliance’s mobile vet unit will also be on-site and providing free vaccines.

“We are extra happy about the return of our Paws in the Park festival this year,” says Pet Alliance Executive Director Steve Bardy.  “After what has undoubtedly been an extremely challenging year for us and for many, we could not think of anything better than gathering together outside with our incredible animal loving community and celebrating the deep love we all have for our furry family members and friends at what is always a fun-filled and memorable day for everyone.”
