You can ring in 2020 with a full belly and a happy heart at Tapa Toro and Taverna Opa’s New Year’s Eve celebrations!
So much fun, they have to do it twice! On New Year’s Eve, Tapa Toro will celebrate the new year twice, with a special four-course menu from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and a five-course menu at 9 p.m.
Guests making reservations for the four-course menu, priced at $35 per person, will ring in the new year with the rest of Spain and enjoy a champagne toast at 6 p.m. The menu will feature assorted cold tapas, a holiday salad of mixed greens, roasted root veggies, gala apple, cranberries, pepitas, and holiday spice vinaigrette; the main course of 6-hour short rib, and a seasonal dessert.
For those interested in celebrating at 9 p.m., Tapa Toro’s five-course menu, priced at $75 per adult and $65 per child under 12 years of age, will feature assorted hot and cold tapas, holiday salad, the Mar y Tierra main course of a lobster tail and a 6-hour short rib, and a seasonal dessert, as well as a champagne toast at midnight.
Meanwhile, at Taverna Opa’s Greek Gatsby Roaring Twenties celebration, guests will dance the night away at the biggest party in Orlando!
Taverna Opa will be serving up a savory menu, from 9 p.m. to midnight and priced at $75 per person, of family-style appetizers of hummus, horiatiki, keftedes, spanakopita, and calamari, an individual entree of “Surf & Turf” lamb chops and lobster tail, and a scrumptious dessert station.

The Spa uses the Cryoskin machine, in which the therapist uses a wand to apply temperatures of negative two degrees Celsius to negative four degrees Celsius, to trigger the death of fat cells and achieve results. Longer lasting results will be seen at the end of three to five sessions.

SPACE 220 RESTAURANT IN EPCOT AT WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT WILL LAUNCH GUESTS TO A NEW HEIGHT OF DINING
Space 220 Restaurant and Lounge in Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort promises to provide the ‘height of dining’ to visitors when it opens in 2020, and the Patina Restaurant Group has released new details about their latest signature table-service.
If you aren’t familiar with the concept, Space 220 will invite guests to feel as though they have traveled into the cosmos. The simulated expedition will provide stunning views of Earth by day and night in a new out-of-this-world culinary experience among the stars.
The adventure begins when a crew member invites guests to step inside the restaurant’s space elevator and prepare for liftoff. Guests will feel as if they are on a scenic excursion traveling 220 miles directly above Earth’s surface, docking at the Centauri Space Station suspended just beyond the orbit of Mission: SPACE.

Upon their arrival at the restaurant, guests will be guided to their seats past the grow zone, a spinning wall of produce that mimics Earth’s gravity and represents some of the fresh ingredients used by the culinary team.
“I look forward to welcoming guests to Space 220, an immersive culinary journey intended to celebrate the wonders of our solar system and transport guests 220 miles above Earth’s surface to experience the height of dining,” said Nick Valenti on behalf of Patina Restaurant Group and parent company, Delaware North.

Space 220 will feature the celestial panorama of a space station combined with gourmet menu offerings. Visitors can expect to witness the sublime sights of passing satellites or floating astronauts while enjoying interstellar dishes during a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The highly anticipated restaurant concept will begin departures this winter.

D23 DESTINATION D: FANTASTIC WORLDS: Returning to Walt Disney World Resort next November 20–22, Destination D will honor Disney’s many magical places, from the extraordinary to the fantastical. In addition, the Walt Disney Archives, which turns 50 next year, is creating an all-new exhibit that will include 50 iconic treasures, representing the 50 years of the Archives. And Walt Disney Imagineering’s store, Mickey’s of Glendale, will once again open a pop-up shop featuring exclusive items, just for the weekend. Additional details, including special hotel rates and ticketing information, will be announced in late spring.

D23 CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF THE WALT DISNEY ARCHIVES: In addition to the new exhibit coming to Destination D, D23 Members will be invited to a special Grand Opening Preview of Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, Calif., on Saturday, March 4, 2020. Plus, on June 22, the actual anniversary of the founding of the Archives, D23 will hold a special “birthday party” at the Bowers Museum. And next year, D23 will offer two exclusive D23 Behind-the-Scenes Experiences: A Day at the Studio Lot, for an exciting look behind the incredible work that goes on every day at the Walt Disney Archives.

WALT’S MARCELINE: Walt frequently cited this charming Missouri town, where he spent his early childhood, as one of his greatest influences. In fact, its lovely main thoroughfare was an inspiration for Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. Light Up UCF brings snowy nights and sparkling lights with an all new ride, spectacular light show, outdoor skating rink, exciting holiday attractions and more to Central Florida!
Get swept up in holiday cheer at Addition Financial Arena (formerly CFE Arena) and the University of Central Florida with the annual holiday festival, Light Up UCF.

This year’s festival offers nights of ice skating, a world-class choreographed light show with NEW music, free holiday movies, live entertainment, rides like the Ferris Wheel and Light Up Express kids train, and NEW this year, a Carousel!
Light Up UCF offers complimentary fun for all ages. Our Holiday Light Show (powered by Duke Energy) features more than 200,000 pulsing, strobing lights throughout the night in perfect synchronization to holiday songs under snowfall. The Light Up UCF Ice Rink, an ultimate fan favorite, returns yet again as a centerpiece for the festivities. The ice rink invites guests to glide along to their favorite Top 40 hits and holiday tunes, played by a live DJ.
There’s no shortage of fun-filled attractions for guests of all ages at Light Up UCF. The Ferris Wheel offers a sky-high panoramic view of UCF’s beautiful campus – with sights as far as Downtown Orlando. The family-oriented atmosphere also boasts the Light Up Express Train, taking little passengers for an excitingly merry train ride; the Artic Glide Ice Slide (sponsored by E-Pass) where lovers of thrill can slide across 100 feet of ice; and the Winter Whirl, taking guests on an adrenaline filled swing.
