Full Sail University Adds Music Festival to 5th Annual Hall of Fame 

Celebration Schedule – February 19-21, 2014

Full Sail University is proud to announce the addition of a three-day music festival to the 5th Annual Hall of Fame celebration featuring nationally and locally recognized bands and artists performing live on Full Sail’s campus. The Hall of Fame music festival will also include gaming exhibits, film screenings, food trucks and more.

This year’s Hall of Fame Music Festival, sponsored by WWE®, will feature performances by: Bear Toe, Beebs and Her Money Makers, Courrier, Jeremy Ellis, The Pauses, Thomas Wynn & The Believers, and many more. Admission to the music festival is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 12pm daily and performances held on the university’s Hollywood-style backlot from 3pm to 9pm. Full Sail’s Hall of Fame Week is sponsored by Sony Electronics’ Professional Solutions of America, with supporting sponsors WWE, Adobe Systems, Inc., Avid, CDW-G, Cisco, Hewlett Packard Co., Murphy Lighting Systems, and Sennheiser.

During Hall of Fame week, guest lectures and panel discussions will take place featuring new and past Hall of Fame inductees and industry leaders from notable companies including, but not limited to, ESPN, Sony, and WWE. Select events within the week will be streamed live to the university’s online students and the public.

Kicking off the Hall of Fame week celebration on February 18, Full Sail is proud to host the world premiere of Orlando Rising, a documentary film dedicated to the growth and economic impact of the Orlando digital industry. On February 21, the highlight of the multi-day celebration will be the induction ceremony of the latest Full Sail University Hall of Fame induction class comprised of six Full Sail graduates.

“As we embark on our 5th annual Hall of Fame celebration week, and the 35th anniversary of our university, we are filled with an astounding sense of pride surrounding our remarkable university community,” said Full Sail University President, Garry Jones.

Full Sail University is proud to announce the 4th Annual Hall of Fame celebration week featuring the induction ceremony of the 2012 class of the Full Sail University Hall of Fame on February 15, 2013 on Full Sail’s campus in Winter Park, Florida. The induction ceremony is the highlight of a series of campus-wide special events scheduled to take place from February 13-16, 2013.

Full Sail’s 4th Annual Hall of Fame Week is sponsored by Sony Electronics’ Professional Solutions of America, with additional sponsors Adobe, Avid, CDW, ESPN, Sennheiser Electronic Corporation, and WWE. The university will welcome celebrity and industry friends of Full Sail and among those scheduled to appear at the February 15 induction ceremony and participate in Hall of Fame Week include: GRAMMY® award-winning audio engineer and music producer Bruce Swedien, Academy Award-winning visual effects artist and producer Ed Jones, ESPN’s Senior Vice President, Content and Information Technology Kevin Stolworthy, ESPN’s Vice President of Emerging Technology Anthony Bailey, former NARAS President and music attorney Al Schlesinger, Live Nation’s Senior Vice President of Global Operations Craig Evans, actor and television personality John O’Hurley, founding member of the GRAMMY®- nominated multi-platinum selling group 98 Degrees Jeff Timmons, former NFL Super Bowl

Guest lectures and panel discussions will take place featuring many of the guests listed above, as well as all of the new Hall of Fame inductees and nine previous inductees. Portions of the week will be streamed live to the university’s online students.

In addition, a number of Hall of Fame week music-related events will be held on the university’s campus highlighted by two free public concerts. The concerts will be held in the university’s on-campus state-of-the-art performance venue, Full SailLive.
