KIDZ BOP Kids Bringing Live Concert Tour Back to LEGOLANDFlorida Resort November 10-12

Exciting LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park Kidz Bop Weekend to Feature High-Energy Stage Shows and Meet-and-Greets — All Included with Admission!

For the second year in a row, The KIDZ BOP Kids will bring their national concert tour to the place #BuiltForKids during KIDZ BOP Weekend, a music-filled event set for November 10-12 at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

Following the success of last year’s “Best Time Ever” tour, which sold out multiple shows across the country, The KIDZ BOP Kids are hitting the road again in 2018. KIDZ BOP announced the launch of the all-new North American Tour, “KIDZ BOP Live 2018,” kicking off June 1 in Toronto, with dates in more than 30 cities, including New York, Los Angeles and Boston.

During the three-day KIDZ BOP Weekend, The KIDZ BOP Kids will perform two live concerts each day at LEGOLAND Florida’s KIDZ BOP Stadium, an outdoor venue on the picturesque shore of Lake Eloise, followed by an exclusive meet-and-greet with the performers. All activities during KIDZ BOP Weekend, including the concerts and meet-and-greets*, are included with all forms of theme park admission. No extra ticket required!

This spring, KIDZ BOP will debut an original musical collaboration with LEGOLAND, one that highlights all the awesomeness that awaits at the popular vacation destination. In 2016, LEGOLAND Florida Resort named KIDZ BOP its official music partner as part of a multi-year alliance that included the creation of a music video for The KIDZ BOP Kids’ performance of “The Weekend Whip,” the theme song of the long-running animated TV series, “LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu.”

“KIDZ BOP Live 2018” is the ultimate family concert experience, “sung by kids for kids.”  The KIDZ BOP Kids – Billboard Magazine’s No. 1 Kids’ Artist for eight consecutive years (2010-2017) – will headline the new show, performing some of today’s biggest hit songs. Just in time for the new tour, three new talented young performers – Olivia (12), Shane (13), and Indigo (11) – are joining the existing group of KIDZ BOP Kids: Ahnya (13), Cooper (14), Freddy (14), Isaiah (11) and Julianna (13). The LEGO Movie World, LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s newest interactive, fully themed land, will feature three new rides, themed retail shops & eateries, a spaceship-themed play hub and character meet & greets.

The LEGO Movie World will feature THREE NEW RIDES:

• THE LEGO MOVIE Masters of Flight is a flying theatre attraction where guests join Master Builders on an exciting, action-packed adventure. Emmet’s latest invention, The Triple Decker Flying Couch, transports riders all over THE LEGO MOVIE universe with a suspended, 180-degree ride & full-dome virtual screen, giving guests the sensational feeling of flying.
• Unikitty’s Disco Drop is a family ride that elevates guests to the heights of Cloud Cuckoo land, then drops, spins and bounces them unexpectedly, creating a thrilling and fun experience.
• In the Battle of Bricksburg, guests take a seat in construction vehicles, navigating the flooded streets of Bricksburg for an interactive water play attraction. Riders are challenged to stop DUPLO aliens from invading and stealing LEGO bricks by spraying water at targets. Meanwhile, onlookers join the splash battle experience by spraying water cannons located on the perimeter of the course.

Made completely out of LEGO, Downtown Bricksburg is home to SEVERAL ATTRACTIONS:

• Guests can grab a quick bite to eat at Taco Everyday or visit The Awesome Shop to find special memorabilia and souvenirs.
• In the heart of THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD, kids can climb and play inside Benny’s PLAYSHIP!, a space-themed playground structure.

For three weekends in January LEGO NINJAGO Days will fill LEGOLAND Florida with ninja-themed activities, new LEGO character meet-and-greets, delicious, kid-friendly treats and the debut of a 12-minute, “4D” theatrical attraction starring the heroes of Cartoon Network’s “LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu”.

Included with all forms of theme park admission, LEGO NINJAGO Days joins the park’s immersive land, LEGO NINJAGO World, nearly one year after it opened with a groundbreaking interactive ride the whole family can enjoy.

UK pop star Sam Bailey, who recently wrapped her “Sing My Heart Out” tour in support of her second album, visited LEGOLAND Florida Resort on July 8 with husband Craig, their three children, Tommy, Brooke and Miley, mum Jackie and several close friends during a weeks-long Florida holiday celebrating her 40th birthday.

The “X Factor” winner enjoyed a stay in the popular LEGOLAND Hotel’s LEGO Friends suite, plus a private tour of the resort’s Model Shop, where Master Model Builders create and repair the many elaborate LEGO models on display throughout the theme park.

Sam autographed a star made of LEGO bricks for the hotel’s wall of fame, which includes autographs from celebrities such as singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, actress-singer Jennifer Hudson and broadcaster Megyn Kelly. In appreciation of her visit, the Florida resort presented Sam with a mosaic of her 2013 debut single, “Skyscraper,” made out of more than 600 LEGO pieces.

Sam and friends ended the evening at the Winter Haven, Fla., vacation destination as special guests of LEGOLAND Knight Lights, the park’s exclusive summertime special event.

As fans throughout the galaxy celebrate the Star Wars saga today, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is announcing an exciting new addition coming to its LEGO Star Wars MINILAND area in 2018 – an all-new LEGO display inspired by the worldwide blockbuster “Star Wars – Episode VII: The Force Awakens.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens MINILAND Model Display will feature several scenes re-created with thousands of LEGO bricks, including memorable movie moments with Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren and BB-8, enhanced with lights, sound effects and animation. LEGOLAND Beach Retreat Resort – Summer 2017

LEGOLAND Florida will open their second resort, LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, on April 7^th inviting families to stay in a village-style vacation resort with 83 beach-themed bungalows each with whimsical LEGO décor inside and out themed to popular LEGO Minifigures. The resort has a focus on outdoor play, and the bungalows are grouped into ‘coves’ that feature outdoor play areas that are within the view of the bungalows’ shaded patios, where mom and dad can relax while kids play.

• Christmas Bricktacular – Select dates in December: The LEGOLAND Florida Resort is filled with festive fun to celebrate the season with fun touches like a giant Christmas tree made of thousands of LEGO and DUPLO bricks, holiday-themed scavenger hunts, LEGO building activities, meet-and-greets with LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldier, sparkling lights, beautiful decorations, and even the occasional snow flurry!
