TrenD Report – April 9, 2013
After my last Hit and Miss TrenD Report, I was BEYOND excited to find so many great things at my favorite store just in time for my Birthday (Do you hear that dear Hubby?)!
It is definitely time to get ready for spring at TrenD, because there are a ton of great tanks available! I love that the tanks all have a little something that makes them so perfect for so many styles and occasions. I really love the fun and flirty floral details that are being used on these tanks that are perfect for spring and summer!
I was also super excited to see two new styles of Maxi Dresses, since the last few styles have sold out! They have stayed with their love of black and white in a fun layered Hidden Mickey Maxi Dress. And expanding on the popularity of the Bambi Maxi Dress, they have a new style that is so adorable and perfect for a sunny Sunday!
They’re also using a lot of sketch designs in their shirts this year, and it’s super fun! From regular cotton shirts with fun details, to burnout t-shirts perfect for hot days, and even some great purses!
I was also able to find some fun jewelry and watches on this visit. It is great to see designs that work so well on shirts featured on watches, bracelets, and necklaces! I am especially in love with the layered necklaces!
The only item that I was on the fence about was a shiny vinyl bowler bag…it seems more appropriate for the fall, but it could also double as a fun carryon for summer trips.
The Le Sportsac It’s a Small World Global Journey Collection has found its way to TrenD, and it is quite possibly my new favorite pattern! The charm is more understated, and the pattern is more sophisticated. I love it!!!

I am honestly SO in love with that Chip and Dale shirt! It is too cute! I do have a soft spot for those chipmunks!
I was soooooo excited to see them on a shirt!!! Plus it’s a really great shade of purple!
I wonder what, if any of this will be left by the time I get there in June… sigh
I will keep my fingers crossed, but they are re-designing a lot of their popular items when they do sell out which is really nice.
The Minnie Bowler tote is awesome
If you love larger purses, it’s a great option!
My favorite item at Trend D is the Dooney & Bourke handbag with the retro ride graphics on it.

LOL!!! I think I may go back and get the shadow tank, too!!! You can’t go wrong with a fun black and white tank!!!
I’ve been eyeing the Disney prints of Le Sportsac for awhile now and somehow I always miss TrenD when I’m in the area even though I always intend to visit there. Looks like there are lots of nifty cute items!
I really love the Le Sportsac line for the summer, because it’s super lightweight and is easy to clean! I love my Dooneys, but these are MUCH better summer bags!!!
Oooh! I love all the new pieces for summer!!! I can’t wait to head back to WDW and check out the new dresses. Can’t have enough Mickey, right!?! My favorite TrenD pieces right now would have to be the It’s a Small World collection. I love it so much, it’s my favorite design yet… Very similar to that of Mary Blair’s. I LOVE that Aztec hidden Mickey Maxi. I see this post is from a few years ago so I’m sure its not in the store anymore. Have you seen any hidden mickey sundress or maxis? I wish I was closer and could just pop in to shop!

You may want to check out the Shop Disney Parks App to see what’s available now in the parks, but I don’t recall seeing anything like this lately.
Also the Lauren Conrad line for Kohls is currently Alice in Wonderland, but they do have some pieces of the Minnie Mouse line on sale that are super cute.
