TSO, whose phenomena has grown year after year, has played over 1,500 shows for more than 10 million fans in the past 15 years, and quietly became one of the world’s biggest arena-rock acts. The unprecedented fan driven growth is a testament to TSO founder Paul O’Neill’s vision of “Rock Theater,” the perfect amalgamation of Broadway storytelling with the spectacle of rock, delighting audiences of all ages year after year.

During the final tour, audiences will get to experience the modern Charles Dickens-like classic, “The Lost Christmas Eve.” Following the 2012 premiere of this acclaimed rock opera, critics were raving, calling it “…a must see for any music lover,” “…a rock ‘n’ roll holiday celebration worth seeing,” and an “unrivaled spectacle of sight and sound.” “The Lost Christmas Eve” features a diverse soundtrack fusing elements of rock, classical, folk, R&B, and theatrical-styled music, with the story taking you on a journey into the “Capra-esque” world of TSO creator/producer, Paul O’Neill. The critically acclaimed rock opera encompasses a rundown hotel, an old toy store, a blues bar, a Gothic cathedral, and their respective inhabitants all intertwined during a single enchanted Christmas Eve in New York City. “The Lost Christmas Eve”, performed in its entirety for the final time, will feature the hit single “Wizards in Winter,” as well as longtime crowd favorites, “Christmas Nights in Blue” and “Siberian Sleigh Ride.” It will be followed by songs from last year’s EP release from Lava/Republic, “Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night),” classics from TSO’s debut album, “Christmas Eve & Other Stories” and the rest of the heralded catalogue of rock operas.

While off the road, TSO is constantly stockpiling new projects in their Rock Theater arsenal, including the rock operas “Gutter Ballet and the New York City Blues Express,” “Letters from the Labyrinth” and “Romanov: When Kings Must Whisper,” an epic story set amidst the Bolshevik Revolution.

Since their debut in 1996, TSO has defied the rules of an ever-changing music industry being regarded as a mix of The Who’s “Tommy,” Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musicals, and Pink Floyd’s expansive light show. Year after year, the group has ranked in the Top 10 for both gross revenues and attendance, according to Pollstar magazine. Having played live to over one million fans each year, TSO saw a 15% increase in sales alone in 2012, transforming them into a year round tradition that’s here to stay.

ORLANDO CITY SOCCER ANNOUNCES TICKET PRICES FOR A.S. ROMA MATCH

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Orlando City Soccer Foundation

At last week’s Fan Forum, Orlando City SC announced a highly anticipated friendly against Italian club A.S. Roma on January 2, allowing fans to experience top-flight soccer during the off-season.  The match will be held at the Cahill Sandspur Field and the Barker Family Stadium at Rollins College at 1000 Holt Avenue in Winter Park, with a 12:30 p.m. kickoff.

Today, the Lions announced tickets on sale, with prices ranging from $10 to $25, available solely on OrlandoCitySoccer.com.  Seating is extremely limited, and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.  100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the Orlando City Soccer Foundation.

“We are extremely proud to use this match as a platform to raise funds to benefit children in our community and further the sport of soccer, “ said Kay Rawlins, Director of Community Relations.

The Orlando City Soccer Foundation has recently held a series of soccer clinics with the New Image Youth Center on Parramore, also donating indestructible soccer balls to the children.

Roma announced a deal with ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex earlier in the year, making Central Florida their official winter training home. Team leaders also confirmed that the three-time Serie A champions will be bringing their “A” squad to Florida, making for an exciting matchup in Winter Park.

LEGOLAND® FLORIDA: TICKET PRICE STAYS THE SAME

LEGOLAND® FLORIDA: TICKET PRICE STAYS THE SAME

– Central Florida’s newest theme park is also most affordable, best vacation value –

LEGOLAND Florida Ticket Prices Stay The Same

Despite rising ticket prices at other major Central Florida attractions, LEGOLAND® Florida today announced it will keep its prices steady through the summer at $75 for adults and $65 for children under 12.  A family of four visiting the park will save between $40 and $56 a day compared to a visit to a competing park.

“The comparisons are important, especially in today’s economy,” said LEGOLAND Florida Director of Sales & Marketing Kim Isemann.  “Families are looking for great experiences at prices they can afford.  A day at LEGOLAND Florida is one of the highest values in our industry.”

Isemann suggests families compare other incremental costs too, such as dining and parking.  At LEGOLAND Florida, all menu items – from mahi-mahi sandwiches to chicken Caesar salads – are priced no higher than $11.  Parking is also more affordable, at $12 per car, $6 for motorcycles.  Other parks charge $14 for both cars and motorcycles.

For those looking to visit LEGOLAND Florida and the all new water park attraction, which opened in May and features water slides, a wave pool, several playground areas and a lazy river called Build-A-Raft, they can for only an additional $12 a day.  A great value for families to experience more splashing thrills and family fun.

While ticket price comparisons are on single-day, full-price admissions, there are many discount and combination-ticket offers in the marketplace as well:

–       Florida Residents save $20 on a Premium Pass, with unlimited admission to the theme park and water park, as well as free parking, plus food and merchandise discounts, through July 31.

–       Guests save $10 off single-day combo tickets for the park and water park by purchasing online through October 28.
