Animal Kingdom Merchandise

We have been showing a ton of love to Animal Kingdom this week, so I thought I would keep the ball rolling by taking a look at their large variety of merchandise.

With so many different lands inside of Animal Kingdom, the merchandise does a great job staying true to not only the message but location sold in the Park. Also, a you will be able to find merchandise that gives back to different foundations, such as the Disney’s Worldwide Conservation Fund, when you purchase them.

I hope that you enjoy this look at the merchandise that Animal Kingdom has to offer!!!

Summer Merch Has Arrived At The Emporium

Instead of a TrenD Report today, I thought I would do something a little different…

When I was walking through The Emporium at the Magic Kingdom, I couldn’t help but notice that merchandise with more of a summer/beachy feel has made its way out to the floor!!!

I am really digging on the subdued, sun-kissed colors and beach theme!!!

Also I found a few more Minnie Ears that I had not seen, some totally adorable pajama sets, and Ashley found a really awesome piece of luggage!!!

I hope you enjoy my walk around The Emporium!

2011 Holiday Merchandise Spotlight On Ear Hat Ornaments

Continuing with the 2011 Holiday Merchandise Spotlight, today I wanted to take a look at the two different styles of ear hat ornaments that are being offered this year.

The first ornaments are made of porcelain, come with a satin bow for hanging, and are limited editions. They are 1 3/4” H 3 1/4” W (at ears) x 2 1/4” Diameter.

Also available are miniature versions of the felt ear hats you can purchase in the stores!

I am completely obsessed with them!!!!

2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

Inside of the 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Center, located in the much beloved Wonders of Life Pavilion, you will find the most comprehensive collection of Festival Merchandise.

Let’s take a look at what this year has to offer…

This is the painting of the International Food and Wine Festival's signature print.

As always, the focus of the merchandise are items that you can use in your own kitchen.

PINS!!!!

I am in LOVE with the Minnie Pin!!! So I may be biased, as she's my favorite character...

This is the Annual Passholder exclusive pin for the Food & Wine Festival.

The old world looking stamps on the hat look super cool.

This burn-out t-shirt is really cute! It might be my favorite.

There were a large variety of shirts this year.

While the front seems unassuming...

The back is awesome, because it has replicas of all of the kiosk signs!

This looks dangerous!

Chef Duffy!

Now the next few items I found are so amazing! These cosmetic and messenger bags are created from the banners that flew at last year’s International Food and Wine Festival!!!

The 2011 Food and Wine festival Vinylmation.

The 2011 International Food and Wine Festival has also added two signature wines to their list of exclusive offerings.

The festival Pinot Grigio.

The festival Chianti.

The thing that strikes me the most about the merchandise for the 2011 International Food and Wine Festival is that the quality has definitely been kicked up a notch since last year!!!

Also, with the addition of the wines and the priorLife merchandise you will find more opportunities, outside of the featured artists, to purchase one-of-a-kind items!

FEED Our Small World Products Now Available At TrenD

This year marks the 45th anniversary of “It’s a Small World” at Disneyland, and to celebrate and carry on the message of It’s a Small World a line of products has been created to help children around the world.

It’s a Small World represents a powerful, unifying idea: regardless of individual nationality or ethnicity, we are all more similar than we are different. This idea champions what we all know in our hearts—though a world apart, we are all connected to each other.

The FEED Our Small World tote is made of natural burlap, and has cream-colored organic cotton interior lining. Each bag measures approximately 16” wide, and 14” high.  Each Tote bag purchased* will help UNICEF supply 500 children with a year’s worth of essential Vitamin A supplements.

Tote handles and the messenger strap have approximate drop lengths of 11” and 17” respectively. Both handles are made of sturdy cream-colored organic cotton. The center of each bag, along with the messenger strap, both feature the adorable Small World characters, representing children from many different cultures around the world.

The FEED Our Small World shirt is cream-colored and made of cotton and polyester. Each shirt purchased* will help UNICEF supply 150 children with a year’s worth of essential Vitamin A supplements.

These high quality items not only look amazing, but offer you the chance to make a difference in the life of a child!

*For each FEED Our Small World Tote purchased, FEED Projects will donate $10.00 to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to help support UNICEF’s nutrition programs. No part of the purchase price is tax-deductible. UNICEF does not endorse any brand or product. For more information visit unicefusa.org or feedprojects.com.

The Art of SHAG comes to Walt Disney World

When I read on the Disney Parks Blog that Josh Agle, better known as SHAG, would be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time to sign deluxe prints of the 40th Anniversary Map I knew that I had to be there!

I got to Uptown Jewelers at around 10:00 am and found myself sixth in line to purchase the print to be signed by SHAG.  It was really exciting!

I wanted to take this bad boy home with me!!!

The confectionery was sending over samples of goodies, and some of the citizens of Main Street USA came by to offer a visit. The wait was made to be enjoyable thanks to the humor of Fire Chief Smokey Miller…

At 11:00 am we were able to buy our items to be signed. There were prints, Haunted Mansion decanters and glasses, and Haunted Mansion aluminum water bottles available.

Then it was time…but just as SHAG was about to begin signing the good Fire Chief had a surprise! He joined the Dapper Dans in a serenade of “Grim Grinning Ghosts” for SHAG!

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhrrm8XeNkw&w=480&h=390]

The Print itself features the icons and resorts that were present as Walt Disney World opened 40 years ago. From the Polynesian to water skiing to the sky buckets…it’s all there!!!! And to top it off, he was a super cool guy who graciously signed and spent time with each of us.

It was definitely an experience that I won’t soon forget!!!

Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year!!!

I thought I would kick off the year with a look at the 2011 merchandise.

I really love the design and colors! It is nice contrast to the retro colors & styles offered in the 40th Anniversary items. The Viynlmations are super cute, too!

I hope that you enjoy the pictures and that 2011 is an amazing year!!!!!
