Dezerland Action Park Orlando is kicking off the fall season with a family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration.
During regular park hours from September 30 to October 30, Dezerland will serve traditional German dishes and Samuel Adams’ seasonal offerings from custom Volkswagen buses.
Guests can choose from mouthwatering options such as a one-pound Bavarian pretzel, German-style roasted chicken, or bratwurst – a quarter-pound German sausage cooked in beer and onions served with German potato salad or mac & cheese.
Dezerland’s Oktoberfest celebration will feature Samuel Adams. The company’s fan-favorite Oktoberfest draft beer will be available for $7 for a 16 oz pour.
Dezerland’s Orlando Auto Museum will display vehicles from one of the world’s largest Volkswagen collections.
To continue the festive spirit, guests can explore the extensive display of Volkswagens along with more than 2,000 movie, celebrity, military and historical vehicles. Every ticket purchased for the Orlando Auto Museum during the Oktoberfest weekend comes with a free, warm German-style pretzel.
With over 850,000 square feet of entertainment space, Dezerland Action Park Orlando is filled with excitement for you to uncover.

On September 30th, the Museum of Illusions Orlando invites guests to experience Noche de Sabor, or “Night of Flavors,” in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. From 6 to 9 p.m., the interactive attraction will throw an exclusive fiesta featuring a live band, DJ, and salsa dancers.
The Wheel at ICON Park will also take part in the celebration. During the event, party guests can take a complimentary trip on The Wheel, which will be lit up in the Museum of Illusions’ signature orange to add to the fiesta. The party continues, and the cerveza is flowing at the cash bar, with passed samples of Hispanic beers for guests to enjoy.

The Wheelhouse Bar
A key component of The Wheelhouse remodel was the addition of a circular bar in the center of the building. It was designed using custom-colored, hand-made encaustic cement tiles to give the bar surface a fun, Florida feel, all while complementing the ICON Park colors surrounding it. The shape of the round bar honors the design of The Wheel – a hint of what is to come. It features blush-colored glass pendants that are handblown, suggesting sea glass, and a brightly speckled terrazzo countertop adds a touch of retro glam. This mix of texture, color, and shape, makes The Wheelhouse Bar the perfect spot for a quick drink or leisurely hang out with friends.
As guests walk to the back lot of The Wheelhouse to ride The Wheel, they’ll discover the new Sky Bar. It’s a casual spot to pick up a quick drink before boarding your capsule. The bar is covered in ocean blue scallop-shaped cement tiles and accompanied by a brightly speckled terrazzo countertop. The back bar wall, painted in Flamingo Pink, is decorated with a selection of curated poster-sized vintage travel postcards, a nostalgic wink to Florida tourism over the years.

As part of The Wheelhouse remodel, ICON Park has also added new attractions such as In The Game ICON Park and 7D Motion Theater, a gift shop, a retail store, and new flooring inside The Wheelhouse.
To optimize all 20 acres of ICON Park’s open-air and walkable spaces, the entertainment complex has expanded the ICON Park Promenade. Thirty new kiosks have been added so guests can enjoy a unique outdoor shopping experience as they stroll along the brick promenade under festoon lights.

I’m super excited to share that Chef Gordon Ramsay’s newest restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips officially opens its doors today at ICON Park, the open-air entertainment destination located on International Drive.
The fast-casual restaurant serves Chef Ramsay’s take on classic fish and chips, in addition to other dishes like fried shrimp, lobster, chicken, and his signature “Fishwich.”
To accompany the dishes, sauces like Gordon’s Tartar, Curry & Mango, Sriracha Aioli, Southwest Ranch, Dijon Mayonnaise and Cocktail sauce are featured.
The menu also includes a “Just Chips” section of “dirty” fries with a combination of toppings like jalapeño, chorizo, cotija cheese, red onion, chives and parsley or truffle, parmesan cheese, chives, and parsley. The restaurant also serves two delicious shakes – Sticky Toffee Pudding and Biscoff.
“Fish & Chips was a real tradition for me growing up, so I’m excited to deliver that same nostalgia to all the local residents and tourists here in Orlando,” said Ramsay.
Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips’ first restaurant is located in Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade, where the staff use 25,000 pounds of potatoes monthly to prepare their expertly textured chips. The ICON Park restaurant is Gordon Ramsay North America’s first in Florida. Its color scheme is reflective of the Union Jack; blue and red with industrial hardware touches. White subway tiles line the sleek kitchen space while an iconic red telephone box serves as the restaurant’s entrance and exit.
During grand opening previews the restaurant collected donations that will be given to its national charity partners, Make-A-Wish and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as its local partner Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The restaurant is excited to be part of the local community and eager to welcome Central Florida residents and visitors.

Standing at a daunting 430 feet, the ICON Park Drop Tower is
the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower. Thirty riders will be able to
embrace the beautiful sites of ICON Park and I-Drive as the tower rotates
around the gigantic tower and rises high into the skyline. Once the ride
vehicle reaches the top, it’ll tilt forward 30 degrees and face the ground for
a brief moment before free falling nearly 400 feet at speeds reaching out over
75mph.

Ox Grill brings world cuisine and event venue to International Drive’s ICON Park
Ox Grill, is getting ready to introduce diners to new flavors and cuisines from around the world when it opens this fall at International Drive’s ICON Park.
When Ox Grill opens, its menu will feature food with links to countries from around the world, as well as a gourmet salad bar. The 7,800 square foot restaurant will also feature an event venue that can seat up to 200 people for corporate meetings and special occasions. It will be a unique addition to ICON Park’s entertainment district, which features 20 acres of shops, restaurants and attractions.
“Ox Grill brings a whole new dimension to dining at ICON Park,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, President and CEO of ICON Park. “Guests will get to enjoy global cuisine with a view of our record-breaking attractions.”
The restaurant is an innovative collaboration between local entrepreneur, Josefina Muñiz, and veteran Orlando restaurateur and sommelier, Joseph Thomas. The two worked to create specialty dishes from around the world. There is mofongo inspired by Puerto Rico, vatapa created from Brazilian recipes and a taste of France in the chicken jambonette.

SEA LIFE Orlando guests will test their skills against five superpowered sea creatures
Underwater Superheroes is a limited-time, interactive experience at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium that let’s guests will learn about the superpowers of five sea creatures and put their own skills to the test through interactive games and challenges daily until September 2, 2019.

Nargeolet, the leading authority on the Titanic wreck site, will be hosting an interactive, entertaining and educational sessionwhich will highlight the unveiling of newly released dive footage from Expedition 2010 to Orlando.
Nargeolet has led 5 expeditions to the wreck and completed 30 dives in a submersible. He has supervised the recovery of 5,000 artifacts, including the recovery of the “big piece,” a 20-ton section of Titanic’s hull, a portion of which is on display at Titanic The Experience.

The second largest piece of Titanic ever recovered, a two ton section of the Ship’s hull, is now the centerpiece of this interactive Exhibition.
Titanic The Experience is located in a 20,000 square foot museum quality space on International Drive. The Exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the legendary Titanic like never before. Trained actors in period costume depicting famous passengers from the Ship lead guided tours through the Exhibition’s 17 galleries complete withfull-scale re-creations of the Titanic’s most famous rooms, including her Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite, Boilers and Promenade Deck.
