LEGOLAND Florida will celebrate America’s independence over two nights and watch as our annual fireworks show transforms into bursting LEGO bricks before your eyes.
During Red, White & BOOM guests will be able to experience in-park activities such as help create a giant American flag out of thousands of LEGO bricks before the sun goes down, enter a competition build for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack by building a patriotic creation of anything you can imagine, and more!

But the star of the show is the fireworks over Lake Eloise!!!
At 9 p.m. each night, guests will want to take a seat near Lake Eloise to see the nighttime sky light up with the biggest fireworks shows of the year!
The best part is the pair of complementary 3D glasses, available starting at 7 p.m., to see the fireworks turn to LEGO bricks before your eyes.

For six weeks this summer starting June 26, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is throwing an AWE-SUMMER celebration packed with engaging stage shows, special weekend events, and surprise streetmosphere performances around every corner.
The party runs all summer, June 26 through August 8, at the Theme Park built for kids with returning events, fan-favorite shows and more.

Robots to the Rescue –Join Olivia as she returns from LEGO Friends Weekends in Heartlake Hall for an interactive LEGO brick build workshop to help save her robot friend.

To celebrate 10 years of LEGO NINJAGO, guests can take part in a limited time AR (augmented reality) experience, NINJAGO Legacy Quest, during event days. Unlock six Golden Amulet fragments and reunite them to protect the Spinjitzu legacy! Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd, and Nya will digitally share their individual elemental powers and lead the way as guests pose with them through AR to complete each challenge. NEW AR EXPERIENCE! LEGO MYTHICA in MINILAND
LEGOLAND Florida Resort invites guests to enjoy the all-new 4D movie and then explore a world of imagination to see LEGO MYTHICA creatures come to life before their eyes. In this AR (Augmented Reality) scavenger hunt in MINILAND, families will work together to find the creatures from the 4D movie and save MYTHICA by inspiring kids to create again. Explore all sections of MINILAND to discover seven hidden LEGOMYTHICA creatures and “capture” them as digital trading cards, revealing their organic forms within the world of MYTHICA. As the theme parks of Central Florida start relaxing their COVID-19 Protocols, there are some important things to note and to keep in mind as you are planning your next vist to be On the Go in the Parks.
Both parks are still requiring guests to wear face coverings except when guests are stationary eating or drinking in appropriate areas.
The Universal Orlando Resort announced via their website that they would no longer be conducting temperature checks for guests prior to entry into the park and will be reducing their social distancing to 1 meter/3 feet.
While not part of the official announcement, park guests have shared on social media that the Universal Orlando Resort parks are once again utilizing the single-rider lines, seating parties together, and filling all rows in both their attractions and shows.
At the Walt Disney World Resort, temperature checks will be phased out in all areas that require them by May 16, 2021.
Theme park reservations will continue to be required for guests to enter a park.

The LEGO Friends Weekend fun has returned to the LEGOLAND Florida Resort with new adventures and activities on May 8-9 and 15-16!
During this year’s celebration, fans will go on an adventure with the “Fab Five,” Stephanie, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, and Mia, to crack a secret code and stop their rival, Dr. Alvah, who has plans to shut down Heartlake City.
The all-day adventure is filled with activities inspired by each of the character’s unique personalities and passions.

In addition to meeting each of the five Friends for socially distanced “selfies,” families can get active by participating in:
Stephanie’s movement class “Stephanie’s Step-A-Thon”
build a crew of LEGO Robots with Olivia in “Robots to the Rescue”
become a performer like Andrea and star in her next big music video inside “Top the Charts”
Mia’s word puzzles in “Explorer’s Quest”

Themed face painting is also available on event days for a fee at the “Glitter Popstar Makeover.”

The event features limited-time-only specialty treats including Confetti Cupcake Bites, Stephanie’s Jammin’ Gelato and Birthday Ice Cream, Pretty Awesome Krispy Pop, and the Heart Squad’s Perfectly Pink Lemonade.

Before we look at the continuing celebrations around the theme parks and attractions of Central Florida, let’s take a look at what is new this week!
Through June 27, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is offering free admission for U.S. military veterans and their families to its SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, and SeaWorld San Diego parks with their Waves of Honor program.
U.S. military veterans and retirees must register their complimentary single-day ticket(s) for themselves and up to three dependents online at www.WavesofHonor.com before May 16.
After registering, all tickets must be redeemed by June 27. As an added thank you, veterans and active military service members can also purchase up to six additional tickets at 50% off.
Service members and their direct dependents must have a valid active military ID to participate.

EPCOT is in full bloom as the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival fills the park with farm-fresh flavors from around the world until July 5th!

The all-new Riptide Race has opened at Aquatica Orlando as the world’s tallest dueling racer!
For those over 42″ tall, it all starts atop a 68-foot tower, where racers will grab a two-person raft before racing through 650 feet of slide, with low walls to keep an eye on your opponent.
It’s a dash to the splash as racers compete in this side-by-side raft run through high-speed tunnels, twists, and turns.

The LEGOLAND Florida Resort is excited to introduce a world with no rules just pure creativity… PLANET LEGOLAND opening April 16, 2021!
This new immersive build experience encourages children and their parents to unleash their imaginations by building, unbuilding, and rebuilding the world of their dreams with, of course, LEGO bricks.
“During the past 12 months, we’ve all learned how resilient and creative our children are. They can play out stories, discover details and feel the sense of accomplishment when they build and play with LEGO,” said LEGOLAND Florida Resort President Rex Jackson. “With PLANET LEGOLAND, there are no rules, just unlimited creativity, empowering children to make the world a brighter place.”
As guests enter, they will encounter a six-foot wide LEGO globe, built out of more than 200,000 bricks, awaiting their creations.
The first step is to select from one of four different themed stations where guests will create their masterpieces.
A LEGO model of a castle spaceship sits atop the building table inspired by Dragons, Knights, and Princesses; a LEGO pirate ship with a lightbulb mast inspires those building at the Vehicles station; a LEGO surfing dragon leads creativity at the station for Ninjas; and a LEGO racing tortoise poses for inspiration at the station for Creatures and Animals.
A DUPLO station is also available for those younger guests with smaller hands. The stations are designed to encourage guests to explore their individual passions as they build, unbuild and rebuild creations using their imagination.
Once built, guests are encouraged to take a selfie with their model and share it using #RebuildTheWorld for all to see.
The final step is to place individual models on the globe and once each child places their model, they have helped rebuild the world!
As the LEGO globe at PLANET LEGOLAND spans six-feet, guests will maintain that same distance when building in this new experience and all safety guidelines such as face masks, the use of hand sanitizer and reduced capacity will be managed.
All bricks in the space will be “quarantined” for 72 hours after being sanitized, and the build stations will be cleaned several times a day.
LEGOLAND will host a sneak peek for Annual Passholders with an Exclusive Preview Event on April 15.

Starting in 2022, families will squeal with delight as they jump into the playful world of Peppa Pig for an unforgettable day of adventure at the World’s First Peppa Pig Theme Park, only at LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
Here is what you need to know about the new park:
Designed to be the ultimate day for little ones, this all-new standalone theme park will feature multiple rides, interactive attractions, themed playscapes and water play areas—complete with “muddy puddles” of course—and fun live shows daily, all based on instantly recognizable locations from the globally popular brand.
Families will meet Peppa and her friends as they snort, giggle and play to build their family’s first theme park memories together.

When Peppa Pig Theme Park opens in 2022, it will be a separately ticketed park.

If you are On the Go in the Parks this weekend you might want to bring an umbrella, but don’t let the sprinkles keep you away from having an awesome time in the parks this President’s Day Weekend!
Before we head into the parks, let’s look at two different but equally awesome Valentine’s Day offers!
Madame Tussauds Orlando at ICON Park on I-Drive will shred old photos of exes in exchange for free admission. LEGOLAND will kick off a stunt-stacked weekend on Friday, February 12 as world-renowned daredevil Nik Wallenda will walk across a high wire five stories above park guests to celebrate the debut of LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s all-new Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show and PirateFest Weekends.
In true pirate-fashion, Wallenda will “walk the plank” 60 feet in the air from inside the Theme Park to the new LEGOLAND Pirate Island Hotel to kick off the Resort’s first-ever pirate invasion!
Park and hotel guests are invited to take part in the fun by watching this nail-biting stunt safely from the ground.
This one-time-only event will be no “walk in the park” for the Wallenda Team as they will construct a high wire longer than 500 feet for the walk. They will also work closely with LEGOLAND Master Model Builders to craft LEGO® bricks onto Wallenda’s 28-foot balance pole.
This daring demonstration is the first event in a year-long celebration for the Park’s 10th birthday. From the skies to the seas, the stunts keep coming with the all-new show and event!

Named by LEGOLAND Florida’s social media fans and co-developed with LEGO masterminds, the cunning and fierce female pirate, “Calico Jade,” joins fan-favorite Captain Brickbeard as he whips his crew of new recruits into shape through a series of thrilling stunts on the seas.
