After taking a hiatus this summer, Kids Night at the Museum is back with a splash!
September is Aquatic Adventures Month at Orlando Science Center so this Kids Night, junior explorers ages 5–12 are invited to SEA exciting exhibits, dive into oceanography with enhanced programming, enjoy dinner and a show, and so much more!
Meanwhile, caregivers can enjoy a stress and child-free evening while their children have a fun and educational experience exploring everything the Science Center has to offer.
Kids Night at the Museum activities include:
Pizza dinner
Explore OSC’s exciting exhibits
Hands-on STEM experiments and activities
Live Science Show
and more!
Kids Night at the Museum was inspired by Orlando Science Center’s summer camp program. During the summer of 2020, caregivers shared their gratitude for providing a safe space for their children to learn and explore during the pandemic. The Center realized that caregivers needed a break and kids needed a place to just be kids. Based on that feedback and following the same health and safety protocols that made summer camp a success, Orlando Science Center launched Kids Night at the Museum in July 2020 to an enthusiastic response.
No two kids are alike, and neither are Kids Nights! Each event is a unique experience with new themes and activities, but it also provides the learning and discovery that accompanies all Orlando Science Center’s offerings. This fledgling event has quickly become a community favorite, winning PLAYGROUND Magazine’s Editor’s Choice for Best New Kid’s Night Out Program during their 2020 Family Favorite awards.
Kids Night at the Museum is $75 (Non-Members), $70 (Members) for the first child. Additional Children in the family: $40 per sibling. These events are known to sell out so don’t delay.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW! The next Kids Night at the Museum coming up will be Saturday, November 13.

Face coverings are currently required for all ages 3 and up, regardless of vaccination status. Before visiting, please review our safety guidelines: Orlando Science Center Visitor Information and Reopening Guidelines. The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is always home to animals and family fun, but just in time for the spooky season, things are getting a little WILDER.
Monsters, princesses and animals of all kinds will dust off their Halloween costumes for the fan-favorite Zoo event, Zoo Boo Bash presented by Orlando Health.
“We pride ourselves on the Zoo being the perfect place for family fun every day,” said Stephanie Williams, Zoo Director. “Zoo Boo Bash really embraces that. Parents are always looking for a safe and fun place for their kids to show off their costumes and trick-or-treat, and our partner, Orlando Health, ensures this event always is.”
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on select dates, October 23-24 and October 30-31.
The Zoo will be filled with all treats and no tricks with not-so-scary décor and activities for children of all ages, including trick-or-treating stations around beloved animals. Costumes are encouraged for guests of all ages. Candy will be provided by T-Mobile.
Zoo Boo Bash is included with Zoo admission. For annual passholders, special discounted event admission will be $5 per individual named on the valid annual pass card.
“We are proud to be a sponsor for such a beloved Central Florida event once again this year,” said Shawn Molsberger, president, Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. “With continued increased safety precautions and social distancing, we are excited for another fun event for families across Central Florida to enjoy.”
Guests can purchase tickets online here for guaranteed admission.
ICON Park on International drive has been buzzing with renovation projects and the opening of 12 new tenants in the past 12 months such as Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Blake Shelton’s Ole Red.
The Wheelhouse, the center of energy at ICON Park where guests board The Wheel and experience more attractions, great food and drinks, games, and fun, is completely remodeled. This started with tearing down the building’s front walls to create a brand-new grand entrance that includes retractable glass panels.
The new design provides the perfect synergy between ICON Park’s open-air spaces and the complex’s central building. The minute guests walk through the large doors, their adventure begins.
A key component of The Wheelhouse remodel was the addition of a circular bar in the center of the building. It was designed using custom-colored, hand-made encaustic cement tiles to give the bar surface a fun, Florida feel, all while complementing the ICON Park colors surrounding it. The shape of the round bar honors the design of The Wheel – a hint of what is to come. It features blush-colored glass pendants that are handblown, suggesting sea glass, and a brightly speckled terrazzo countertop adds a touch of retro glam. This mix of texture, color, and shape, makes The Wheelhouse Bar the perfect spot for a quick drink or leisurely hang out with friends.
As guests walk to the back lot of The Wheelhouse to ride The Wheel, they’ll discover the new Sky Bar. It’s a casual spot to pick up a quick drink before boarding your capsule. The bar is covered in ocean blue scallop-shaped cement tiles and accompanied by a brightly speckled terrazzo countertop. The back bar wall, painted in Flamingo Pink, is decorated with a selection of curated poster-sized vintage travel postcards, a nostalgic wink to Florida tourism over the years.
“When designing these bars, I wanted to create two spaces that represent the exciting, fun experience ICON Park offers its visitors and, at the same time, design them as an homage to Florida,” said designer Petra Hausberger, principal of Somerton Park Interiors.
As part of The Wheelhouse remodel, ICON Park has also added new attractions such as In The Game ICON Park and 7D Motion Theater, a gift shop, a retail store, and new flooring inside The Wheelhouse.
To optimize all 20 acres of ICON Park’s open-air and walkable spaces, the entertainment complex has expanded the ICON Park Promenade. Thirty new kiosks have been added so guests can enjoy a unique outdoor shopping experience as they stroll along the brick promenade under festoon lights.
“ICON Park’s recent, guest-driven enhancements are making our property the top short-stay destination for locals and tourists in Florida,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, president, and CEO of ICON Park. “These investments in money and time show our optimism, and we enjoy seeing how much our guests enjoy the updates.”
ICON Park is at the center of the Orlando Entertainment District. With free parking and conveniently located near I-4, Universal Boulevard and the Beachline, this premiere entertainment complex is easy to access for any Central Florida resident or Orlando tourist.
There’s always something new to see at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens—and now there’s something new to taste to fuel those adventures.
The Zoo recently rolled out new food offerings at two locations on the property, as well as the option for mobile ordering.
The Zoo’s main dining concept is now called Graze, located near the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground. The menu puts a fresh and fun spin on old favorites, serving up items like The Q Dog—with BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw and onions on an all-beef, deli-style hotdog—and the Ragin’ Cajun Crispy Chicken sandwich—which features hand-dipped crispy chicken, dill pickle chips and Cajun mayo made using a Sanford hot sauce company, Hotter Than El.
The eatery also features vegetarian options such as the Falafel Burger and the Powergrain Bowl with quinoa, edamame, garbanzo beans, fresh cucumber, diced tomato and greens with tzatziki vinaigrette and balsamic drizzle.
Kids choices include the Kids Dog and PB&J, and there are a selection of fries and loaded fries. Concessions are also available near the rhinoceros habitat. The new spot, Swirl, serves up ice cream and other grab-and-go treats for those hot days exploring the Zoo.
In addition to the new menu of fresh and satisfying options, parents can get excited for the option to order on their phones. No more will they have to wait in line with kids who just want to hit the splash pad. Now, parents can kick back in one of the lounge chairs near the splash pad, scan the QR code, and place an order.
“We’re always looking for ways to better serve our guests,” said Dino Ferri, the Zoo’s CEO. “We are excited to provide them both with the convenience and some great new options, and we can’t wait for people to taste for themselves.”
Annual Passholders also receive a discount on food and beverage items at the Zoo.
The new food options come from the Zoo’s partnership with the SSA Group, a hospitality group that facilitates ticketing, culinary and retail options for cultural attractions and experiences. The group is also handling the Zoo’s ticketing system.

From April 18 to 24, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will host limited-time experiences including unique Disney character appearances, fun learning opportunities, specialty merchandise, themed food and beverage, a new Wilderness Explorer activity, and more.
EPCOT is in full bloom as the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival fills the park with farm-fresh flavors from around the world until July 5th!
This annual celebration will be slightly different, but beautiful flowers, topiaries with character, fan-favorite entertainment, and family fun can be found around every corner.
Experience an international food fest with cuisine and entertainment inspired by international Carnaval celebrations. Sample the flavors of Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Spain, and other regions including, of course, New Orleans.
Plus enjoy spectacular floats on display, street entertainment, music, beads, and more throughout the theme park.
And now you can let the good times roll even longer as they have extended the celebration through May 2nd!!!
SeaWorld Orlando is really excited about the month-long debut of Julia at Sesame Street Land in celebration of Autism Acceptance Month.
This ALL-NEW experience will run all month long with the park’s enhanced health and safety measures, including limited capacity, reservations, increased cleaning and sanitation, temperature checks, and face covering requirements.
The all-new Riptide Race has opened at Aquatica Orlando as the world’s tallest dueling racer!
For those over 42″ tall, it all starts atop a 68-foot tower, where racers will grab a two-person raft before racing through 650 feet of slide, with low walls to keep an eye on your opponent.
It’s a dash to the splash as racers compete in this side-by-side raft run through high-speed tunnels, twists, and turns.
This is your last weekend to head to Busch Gardens Tampa for the fan-favorite Food & Wine Festival that invites guests to sample more than 110 tasty treats, including 22 NEW dishes.
This year’s menu features festival favorites and fresh twists on classic cuisines from around the country that pair perfectly with more than 80 wines, brews, and cocktails.
This Saturday evening you can see Starship featuring Mickey Thomas in concert and on Sunday Kool & The Gang takes the stage in front of the park’s Festival Field.

Before we head into the parks, let’s look at two different but equally awesome Valentine’s Day offers!

What’s great about Raglan Road is they have great outdoor and indoor seating options with live music in each area starting at noon.
