NEW Cirque X-Scream: Friday-Sunday, multiple shows per day

Kicking off Friday, September 17, hair-raising stunts will return to the Stanleyville Theater, this time with a steampunk spin. Cirque X-Scream features all-new acts, including a spectacular duo that spins across the stage, transformative trampoline tricks and an aerial performance complete with flips and twists. Guests will be on the edge of their seats during this electrifying performance with fresh for fall theatrical costumes and music.

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays, October 2-31

Kids of all ages can enjoy this Halloween season with an expanded trick-or-treat trail and furry friends at Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This family-friendly event takes place every weekend in October in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area and is included in park admission. Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends feature more trick-or-treat stations than ever, a limited-time Sesame Street Halloween Show, festive character meet-and-greets, Halloween Dance Parties and the return of Elmo’s Treehouse Trek climbing area and pin trading. 

NEW LOCATIONS: Trick-Or-Treating Candy Trail 

Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes to enjoy traditional trick-or-treating with a friendly Candy Crew sharing sweet treats at 10 locations along the expanded Candy Trail, from the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area and along the Bird Gardens pathway.

LIMITED TIME: The Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show 

This fan-favorite Halloween show is back again! Count von Count serves as the master of scareemonies as he leads his pals through some of his favorite tunes. With help from Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Grover, Oscar and Elmo, The Count produces a not-too-spooky Halloween show that features song and dance numbers that get everyone involved!

Theme Park Reservation & Mask Policies

Walt Disney World

  • Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy for guests ages 2 and up

– Masks are required regardless of vaccination status
– Masks must be worn while indoors
– Masks must be worn on Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner
– The new policy includes attractions & their queues
– Masks remain optional in outdoor common areas

  • Walt Disney World has opened up more Park Pass availability for summer visits to the park. So while you still need a reservation to enter the parks, it is now easier to snag one.

SeaWorld Orlando

  • In accordance with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and the recommendations of local officials, face coverings are recommended to be worn in designated, indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of SeaWorld Orlando guests and employees.
  • The CDC has indicated that fully vaccinated people can be in outdoor areas without the need for a face covering.
  • The CDC still recommends that people get fully vaccinated and that unvaccinated people use preventative measures such as face coverings and social distancing.
  • For special interactions with certain animals, unvaccinated people will be required to wear a face covering.
  • SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica are both no longer requiring reservations…if you are planning on going to Aquatica during the weekend GET THERE EARLY as parking is running out before noon each day!

Universal Orlando

  • The Universal Orlando Resort encourages all guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across Universal Orlando Resort.
  • Face coverings are optional while outdoors.
  • All guests are ecouraged to keep a safe distance between travel parties.

Adventure Island announces the previously seasonal waterpark will now stay open all year round with new heaters to provide that endless summer vibe.

Just in time to celebrate, the new Hang Ten Tiki Bar officially opens this Friday, September 10th, with an all-new menu of tropical delights.

  • Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy for guests ages 2 and up

– Masks are required regardless of vaccination status
– Masks must be worn while indoors
– Masks must be worn on Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner
– The new policy includes attractions & their queues
– Masks remain optional in outdoor common areas

  • Walt Disney World has opened up more Park Pass availability for summer visits to the park. So while you still need a reservation to enter the parks, it is now easier to snag one.

SeaWorld Orlando

  • In accordance with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and the recommendations of local officials, face coverings are recommended to be worn in designated, indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of SeaWorld Orlando guests and employees.
  • The CDC has indicated that fully vaccinated people can be in outdoor areas without the need for a face covering.
  • The CDC still recommends that people get fully vaccinated and that unvaccinated people use preventative measures such as face coverings and social distancing.
  • For special interactions with certain animals, unvaccinated people will be required to wear a face covering.
  • SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica are both no longer requiring reservations…if you are planning on going to Aquatica during the weekend GET THERE EARLY as parking is running out before noon each day!

Universal Orlando

  • The Universal Orlando Resort encourages all guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across Universal Orlando Resort.
  • Face coverings are optional while outdoors.

Iron Gwazi Opening Date Announced

Iron Gwazi Busch Gardens Tampa Bay March 2022

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced that Iron Gwazi will open as North America’s tallest hybrid coaster and the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world in March 2022, in time for Spring Break. 

The new ride will take thrills to new heights, plunging riders from a 206-foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop and reaching top speeds of 76 miles per hour. The journey will include a dozen airtime moments, including three inversions, as it races along more than 4,075 feet of purple steel track. With a 48” height requirement, Iron Gwazi will be an exciting attraction that thrill-seeking families can take on together.

“Iron Gwazi has been highly anticipated by roller coaster enthusiasts around the world since we first announced this new legend.  Due to the unprecedented challenges over the last two years, Iron Gwazi was delayed, and we recognize the delay has disappointed our fans.  We appreciate the patience our guests have shown.” said Neal Thurman, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Park President. “We’re finally able to confirm that we will be delivering on the next-level thrills that our coaster fans crave and expect from Busch Gardens when we open this incredible coaster this spring.”

SeaWorld Orlando 2021 Craft Beer Festival

The SeaWorld Orlando Craft Beer Festival is returning with more than 100 crafts brews, wines, seltzers, and cocktails Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays, plus Labor Day until September 12.

Guests can sample an unbeatable mix of domestic and local Florida favorites, plus savor more than 20 food items expertly paired to match their preferred brew.

And to top it all off, festive entertainment will keep the party going all day long. This is the one craft beer celebration guests won’t want to miss. 

Busch Gardens Bier Fest

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Bierfest 2020 Howl-O-Scream Halloween

During the fourth year of Bier Fest at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, guests can sip seasonal beverage offerings and savor new recipes featuring fan-favorite breweries.

Beer flows through the park on an all-new beer trail, weaving between iconic coasters, local live music, and fascinating animal habitats while incorporating fan-favorite restaurants and outdoor culinary stations, including the new Giraffe Bar.

This year, park guests can toast to new adventures each Friday through Sunday until October 31.

SeaWorld Orlando’s award-winning summer event, Electric Ocean has returned until September 6th with more hours of fun featuring new daytime experiences and nighttime favorites. 

Electric Ocean brings longer park hours and allows guests to voyage into an exotic underwater world filled with dazzling lights, electrifying dance music, and brilliant evening energy that sparks as the sunsets. (Cause who doesn’t love fireworks???)

There are new shows, entertainment, food, and returning favorites to enjoy!

Theme Park Reservation & Mask Policies

Walt Disney World

  • Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy for guests ages 2 and up

– Masks are required regardless of vaccination status
– Masks must be worn while indoors
– Masks must be worn on Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner
– The new policy includes attractions & their queues
– Masks remain optional in outdoor common areas

  • Walt Disney World has opened up more Park Pass availability for summer visits to the park. So while you still need a reservation to enter the parks, it is now easier to snag one.

SeaWorld Orlando

  • In accordance with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and the recommendations of local officials, face coverings are recommended to be worn in designated, indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of SeaWorld Orlando guests and employees.
  • The CDC has indicated that fully vaccinated people can be in outdoor areas without the need for a face covering.
  • The CDC still recommends that people get fully vaccinated and that unvaccinated people use preventative measures such as face coverings and social distancing.
  • For special interactions with certain animals, unvaccinated people will be required to wear a face covering.
  • SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica are both no longer requiring reservations…if you are planning on going to Aquatica during the weekend GET THERE EARLY as parking is running out before noon each day!

Universal Orlando

  • The Universal Orlando Resort encourages all guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across Universal Orlando Resort.
  • Face coverings are optional while outdoors.
  • All guests are ecouraged to keep a safe distance between travel parties.
  • Universal Orlando Resort hasn’t required reservations, but you’ll want to keep an eye one their official twitter – @UniversalORL – for any capacity or operational updates

At the LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Heroes Weekend returns to close out an Awe-Summer of activities on Saturday, August 7, and Sunday, August 8.

Presented by the National Fire Protection Association, this entertaining and informative event teaches kids about fire safety with a variety of fun activities in the theme park, including information from NFPA’s annual Fire Prevention Week theme about kitchen fires.

The free brews will be available at the park daily from 11:30 a.m. until one hour before the park closes.

Summer Nights just got brighter at Busch Gardens!

Due to popular demand, the park’s NEW nighttime spectacular, “Spark!” can now be enjoyed every night through Sunday, August 8.

As the biggest and brightest show ever to light the park’s sky, “Spark!” features an explosive array of fireworks and exciting effects from dazzling lasers to graceful water elements and dramatic pyrotechnics.

After August 8, “Spark!” will continue to light the night sky at Busch Gardens with presentations each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night through September 6, including Labor Day.

Summer Nights just got brighter at Busch Gardens!

Due to popular demand, the park’s NEW nighttime spectacular, “Spark!” can now be enjoyed every night starting Friday, June 11 through Sunday, August 8.

As the biggest and brightest show ever to light the park’s sky, “Spark!” features an explosive array of fireworks and exciting effects from dazzling lasers to graceful water elements and dramatic pyrotechnics.

From the electrifying pre-party to the epic grand finale, the dazzling experience of “Spark!” can be enjoyed with any park ticket, Fun Card or Annual Pass. After August 8, “Spark!” will continue to light the night sky at Busch Gardens with presentations each Friday, Saturday and Sunday night through September 6, including Labor Day.

Howl-O-Scream Returns to Haunt Busch Gardens

Fear returns in its most immersive form, as guests are invited back inside iconic haunted houses, including two ALL-NEW horror-filled houses at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream, Tampa Bay’s BIGGEST haunt event.

Creeping closer each day, Howl-O-Scream returns to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay with a hair-raising, skin-crawling celebration of ghoulish delights, including:

  • Two ALL-NEW Haunted Houses: Dark minds have been brewing new ways to terrify those brave enough to enter two all new original experiences.
  • Three Returning Houses with Reimagined Nightmares: Three fan-favorite frights will come back from the dead to consume guests with fear in new ways. 
  • Eight Scare Zones, plus three unpredictable hordes: The scares are everywhere including an unmarked zone and new terrors lurking in every corner of the park.
  • Fan-Favorite “Fiends!” returns to the Festival Field Stage: The raunchy monster dance party will return to its spacious outdoor venue for more devilish antics from Dr. Freakenstein and his gang of ghouls.
  • “The Rolling Bones” light up the stage at Dragon Fire Grill: As guests fuel up on a pre-fear feast, the live performance of this skeleton band lights up Dragon Fire Grill with epic covers of classic rock anthems.
