Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is Definitely Pink, Fabulous, and Fun!!!

Everyone's favorite Diva Sharpay Evans takes on the Big Apple and Broadway in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure available on Blu-ray™ and DVD April 19, 2011.

In my house there is one reason for watching High School Musical, no not Troy Bolton…Sharpay Evans!!!! Zoe is obsessed with all things Sharpay, pink, & fabulous, so when received a copy of Sharpay’s Fabulous Adbventure for review her eye’s lit up like it was Christmas!!! And I am super excited to say that Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is great!!! Zoe and I both give it two thumbs up!!!

Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is an all-new Disney comedy adventure starring the multi-talented Ashley Tisdale, as Sharpay Evans, in a hilarious fish-out-of-water tale about a small town Diva and her dog’s mis-adventures in New York City!

Just how fabulous do you have to be to make it big in the Big Apple? One aspiring diva is about to find out…the hard way! Ashley Tisdale shines in this totally captivating comedy.

After a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, Sharpay Evans (Tisdale) sets off for the bright lights of NYC, convinced instant fame and fortune are in the bag (designer, that is). But the theatre is a dog-eat-dog world, as she and Boi discover when they encounter the devious owner of a pampered Pooch named “Countess” and a scheming Broadway starlet who will do anything to crush the competition. Fortunately, Sharpay also meets Peyton (Austin Butler), a handsome student filmmaker who finds Sharpay nearly as fascinating as she finds herself.

Rides with Friends by Brie (@BufferflyBrie)

The happiest moments of my life are spent in Walt Disney World, and when I am surrounded by friends, the attractions are even more worthwhile.  My three favorite experiences EVER were experienced with none other than the author of this fabulous blog, Shelley Caran.  Spaceship Earth is the first one  – not only did we have a hilarious time making the silliest faces we could muster for the picture-taking, but we laughed until our faces were red as we enjoyed the Phoenicians’ company.  We also had quite the experience on Malestrom in Norway.  As we were going backwards down the hill, I completely forgot about the terror that is the polar bear that rears up on its legs; when I saw it, I let out a blood-curdling scream and held on to Shelley for dear life.  And I could not forget about the incredible journey on Test Track that gave us what we now dubbed “Fran Drescher” hair.

I have had phenomenal experiences with other friends as well.  Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with Dave (Shelley’s awesome husband; @DavidCaran), Zoe (Shelley’s adorable daughter), Nicole (@njoysiscaretti), and John (@DisneyWorlds) was an unforgettable moment.  Jazz hands forever!  Riding It’s A Small World with John should be on everyone’s list of things to do when in Disney World.  And I will never, ever forget enjoying an emotionally happy ride on Peter Pan with John and Nicole.  Oh, and one more must-do when traveling to WDW: riding Haunted Mansion with Aurora (@RoraBorieAlice).  The conversation you will have on the attraction will be an unforgettable one!

Being with friends is good therapy for the soul.  I think this is one of the reasons Uncle Walt invented the Disney parks.   Not only can individuals have the time of their lives being in the most magical place on earth, but they can spend time with their loved ones…which really is the most important part.

Rides with Friends: Star Tours

One of my favorite things about living so close to Walt Disney World is that you get to meet ‘friends’ from Twitter and Facebook, and then they turn into REAL friends as you share a moment or maybe a ride that in an instant becomes epic and the cornerstone to a friendship.

We moved to Orlando near the end of August, and the D23 Final Flight of Star Tours was coming up and I was STOKED because it would be the first event that I would be here for. As the date drew closer my excitement slowly faded as reality set in…I wouldn’t know ANYONE that would be there and I would be going alone since we didn’t know anyone to babysit Zoe. YIKES!!!

So as I was sitting outside of the turnstiles of Hollywood Studios, I gave myself a pep talk and decided that if I recognized anyone from their pictures on Twitter or Facebook I would go up and introduce myself. And while I am an outgoing person, the thought of actually doing this made my stomach drop to my toes.

Then it happened…I noticed a person that I recognized and it was go time.

I walked up to Suzannah (@zannaland) introduced myself to her and her husband, and the rest is history. Suzannah introduced me to everyone she knew, we share the LAST popcorn from Endor, and then the last ride of Star Tours.

Look! I didn't even realize I had a pic of Scott Otis and Glenn!!!

Now I can’t imagine what things would be like if I DIDN’T meet her at the Final Flight. And while I love Star Tours, it holds a special place in my heart now!

Don't shoot!!!

Now as excitement builds towards the re-opening of Star Tours (check out www.startours2live.com for awesome info) and Star Wars weekend (www.studioscentral.com always has the best info) , I find myself even more excited about experiencing it since I will have my friends with me!!!

Over the next few weeks, some other friends of the blog will be sharing their stories, too. If you are interested in sharing yours, lemme know! I love hearing and sharing these stories!!!

Girls Day at Magic Kingdom!!!

I am sorry that I have been MIA from the blog, but I have been lucky enough to have had my Mother in town!!!

My Mom’s favorite park is the Magic Kingdom, so we decided to spend her last full day in town taking on the Kingdom!

Be warned…I took a lot of pics…

Still lots of tarps over Main Street...
Make way for Mickey!!!
Still working on the Confectionery...
It was a pretty busy day...
There was a lot of banging and saw dust coming from the bridge construction.
Just in case you didn't know...
As you walk through, the sounds of the natives are drowned out by the sounds of construction.
The new Princess Meet & Greet entrance with a posted wait time.
And this is the exit...
Ariel and Eric have been been meeting in this gazebo area, too

Our first ride is ALWAYS the Jungle Cruise!!!

The Girls!
Our Skipper
The Backside of Water!!!

The Tiki Room is still boarded up from the fire…

Then we decided to take in a new/old favorite.

Then it was time for my Mom to take Zoe on her first ride again, and for me to snap a few pics of the Fantasyland Expansion from my trusty Dumbo…

The gals in their pink Dumbo...

It looks like the Tigger area of the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh queue is still touch and go…

It was a nice touch having these guys around this area, because it seemed so vacant and dead.

Don’t look behind this big, green wall…seriously it will make you sad…

It looks like they are really making progress on the new track on the speedway.

We decided to finish the day with two of our favorite rides…The Peoplemover and Carousel of Progress!

Zoe is making a super silly face with Mom!

I hope that you have enjoyed joining us on our Girl’s Day Out!!!
