I am in SERIOUS denial that we are about to be On the Go in the Parks in May!!! This year is flying by!!!
Before we look at the continuing celebrations around the theme parks and attractions of Central Florida, let’s take a look at what is new this week!
Waves of Honor Offer for SeaWorld Parks
Through June 27, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is offering free admission for U.S. military veterans and their families to its SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, and SeaWorld San Diego parks with their Waves of Honor program.
U.S. military veterans and retirees must register their complimentary single-day ticket(s) for themselves and up to three dependents online at www.WavesofHonor.com before May 16.
After registering, all tickets must be redeemed by June 27. As an added thank you, veterans and active military service members can also purchase up to six additional tickets at 50% off.
Service members and their direct dependents must have a valid active military ID to participate.
Since its launch in 2005, more than 10 million guests – active-duty military members, veterans, and their families – have enjoyed the company’s parks for free through the Waves of Honor program.

A Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
EPCOT is in full bloom as the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival fills the park with farm-fresh flavors from around the world until July 5th!
This annual celebration will be slightly different, but beautiful flowers, topiaries with character, fan-favorite entertainment, and family fun can be found around every corner.
Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort
This is your last weekend to experience an international food fest with cuisine and entertainment inspired by international Carnaval celebrations. Sample the flavors of Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Spain, and other regions including, of course, New Orleans.
Plus enjoy spectacular floats on display, street entertainment, music, beads, and more throughout the theme park.
Riptide Race at Aquatica Orlando
The all-new Riptide Race has opened at Aquatica Orlando as the world’s tallest dueling racer!
For those over 42″ tall, it all starts atop a 68-foot tower, where racers will grab a two-person raft before racing through 650 feet of slide, with low walls to keep an eye on your opponent.
It’s a dash to the splash as racers compete in this side-by-side raft run through high-speed tunnels, twists, and turns.
