ICON Park, Orlando’s easy-to-access entertainment destination for locals and visitors, is helping families keep summer fun going with a brand new deal.

ICON Park is providing its own version of stress relief to the community facing back-to-school challenges during a pandemic – prices to The Wheel are reduced to $5 for students and $10 for accompanying parents. This offer is open to any student from grade-schoolers to college students.

“Back to school is an exciting time, but this year it’s stressful as students and parents adjust during the pandemic,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, CEO and President of ICON Park. “We want to offer a fun, affordable escape from the pressures families are facing right now.”

After hitting the books, families can get to ICON Park in minutes for a delicious meal, entertainment, and an unforgettable trip on The Wheel.  Locals enjoy viewing Orlando from 400 feet high because they can see their hometown in a private capsule cleaned after every use. The experience can take from 20 minutes to ride The Wheel to several hours to dine, shop, and visit the park’s other attractions. With its convenient location on International Drive close to I-4 and the Beachline, ICON Park is easy to get to from anywhere in the Central Florida area and includes free parking.

ICON Park also has other Florida resident discounts, including a new package perfect for families – the ICON Park Play Pass. The super-value Play Pass provides guests with access to the entertainment complex’s top attractions, exclusive food and drink specials, and major shopping discounts. And now, the ICON Park Play Pass is available at a special price of just $55 (regularly $65) for Florida, Georgia, and Alabama residents, a bundled savings of over 40 percent.

To receive the back-to-school discount to The Wheel, students over the age of 16 must present a valid student ID. Tickets are available for walk-up purchases only and must be used the same day.
