Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream will be coming to Orlando’s Amway Center for six performances September 8-10, 2017.

• We will be giving away four (4) tickets to Disney on Ice Presents Dare to Dream at the Amway Center on Friday, Sept. 8, 7:30 p.m. OR Saturday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m. performance .
• Parking at the Amway Center is not included in this giveaway.

• The winner of our contest will be contacted by email (so be sure to double check your comment to make sure you include it in the settings – your email address will not be visible in your comment) and will have 24 hours to respond to the email or a new winner will be chosen.
• The winner will be responsible for picking up their tickets at the Amway Center’s Will Call with a valid photo ID starting Thursday, September 7 during regular Box Office hours which can be found on their website (Monday through Friday | 9am to 6pm and three (3) hours prior to any event). We do recommend picking up your tickets no later than 30 minutes prior to show time.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announced that Rufus Wainwright, the vocalist and songwriter that the New York Times praises for his “genuine originality,” will bring his February in Florida tour to Orlando this winter. The GRAMMY-nominee will take the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater stage for an intimate night of song onThursday, February 8, 2018 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now. Tickets start at $55.00 and may be purchased online at drphillipscenter.org, by calling 844.513.2014 or by visiting the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday. Online and phone ticket purchases are subject to handling fees.

Rufus Wainwright is one of the great male vocalists, composers and songwriters of his generation has released seven studio albums, three DVDs and three live albums, He has collaborated with artists ranging from Elton John, David Byrne, Robbie Williams, Mark Ronson, Joni Mitchell to Burt Bacharach. His album, “Rufus Does Judy,” recorded at Carnegie Hall in 2006, was nominated for a GRAMMY.

His acclaimed first opera, Prima Donna, premiered at the Manchester International Festival in July 2009 and has since been presented in London, Toronto and at BAM in New York. This summer, it will be performed at the Armel Opera Festival in Hungary and Augsburg Theatre in Germany. In 2015, Deutsche Grammaphon released a studio recording of the opera recorded with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

He celebrated the 400^th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death with the release of his latest album, “Take All My Lives: 9 Shakespeare Sonnets” on Deutsche Grammophon worldwide in the spring of 2016.

The Canadian Opera Company commissioned Wainwright’s second opera about Roman Emperor Hadrian, set to premiere in Toronto in the fall of 2018.
