AAA Offering Free Car Seats To Help Florida Families

With new car seat laws taking effect January 1, 2015, Florida AAA offices are helping Florida families out by giving out a limited number of new car seats as a way to increase the awareness of a new law that requires children under age six to be in a car seat or booster seat.

AAA Florida Car SeatAAA Florida will be giving out the free booster seats members and non-members every Friday in January, and to qualify for this offer the seat has to be for a child who is at least four years old between the height of 50-57 inches who weighs 40-60 pounds.

You will need to make an appointment by calling your local AAA office (you can click here to find a location). It is also important to note that your child must be present at your appointment, because they will be weighed and measured prior to you receiving the car seat.

This offer is only open as long as the car seats at each location last, so make sure that you call in as soon as you can!

I checked with the Orlando Office on Sand Lake Road earlier this morning, and they have 60 car seats that are available.

I absolutely applaud AAA for having such a commitment to the safety of children in Florida!!!
