Today my husband Dave and I are celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary, and one of our most favorites dates of all time was a fun and romantic night of dinner and seeing Cirque du Soleil presents Varekai!

Cirque du Soleil presents Varekai is an absolutely beautiful show!!!
Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world a world where something else is possible. A world called Varekai.
The sky lets go a solitary young man, and the story of Varekai begins. Parachuted into the shadows of a magical forest, a kaleidoscopic world imbued with fantastical creatures, a young man takes flight in an adventure both absurd and extraordinary. On this day at the edge of time, in this place of pure and undiluted possibility, begins an inspired incantation to a life rediscovered and to a newly found wonder in the mysteries of the world and the mind.
The word Varekai (pronounced ver·ay·’kie) means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. Directed by Dominic Champagne, this production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to those who quest with infinite passion along the path that leads to Varekai.
The Magic Grill is conveniently located on the northwest corner of Amway Center, Magic Grill is open to the public and features two large bars, outdoor seating and more than a dozen flat screen TV’s. This all-new restaurant is the perfect spot for fans to gather in a relaxed setting to enjoy traditional sports pub fare with a modern twist.
The Magic Grill is reasonably priced and open before, during, and after events at the Amway Center. We make it a point to get to events on the earlier side so we can pop in for a bite before we go in (through their own entrance to the Amway Center!). My favorite thing to order is the Barbacoa Chicken Quesadilla, but the burgers are Dave’s favorite!

The winner of our contest will be contacted by email (so be sure to double check your entry) and will have 48 hours to respond to the email or a new winner will be chosen. - $35 to $150 | All tickets are subject to applicable taxes, service, handling and facility fee charges.
- Door opening times for the Amway Center vary according to each event. Guests may enter the arena one hour prior to the start time of each event, unless otherwise specifically noted. Guests may check door times in advance by calling 407.440.7900.
- The show reserves the right to approve camera use at any time during and/or before the event and to prohibit the use of any camera that is deemed unacceptable. Cameras with a detachable lens and/or 6” or longer, tablets and the use of flash photography are prohibited at all Amway Center events. Check amwaycenter.com or call the administration office at 407.440.7000 prior to the event for any camera policy updates. Camera policy is subject to change at any time at the show’s discretion.
